Two points. a) Beautiful page as always Skailla! b) This really makes me wonder what the significance of these standing stones are. The 'yotes burried the compass in front of one of these stones, which if they had no significance would not have been a good hiding place .Burrying it anywhere else in the desert would have made the compass much less likely to be found, so they must have had some reason to bury it infront of the stone. Perhaps it acts as some kind of ward, limiting the compasses power and stopping its influence from spreading? As for the stone by the old port, I don't think that its crack was caused by natural weathering! And unless Baltazar has decided to fund an Oddwind Quarrying company(!), I think that the crack was likely caused by preternatural means. Maybe instead of following Steban back out into the desert, the devil decided to try her hand at some demolition work!

Love it!! Looks wonderful as always :) Woah…now there’s more than one rock. I think what will happen next will be that Sam and Edgar will touch it and disappear! Holly will show up later and think that Edgar forgot about her :(. I think the rocks are definitely the reason for the missing dogs. Just my theory :)
