Marsha and her siblings are happy, chuckling along. Holly and her family represent this vibe where family vital. They are comforting her, and she needs it more than ever. In contrast, Delilah is solemn. Like Baltazer gives her gifts as a way to cheer her up or say sorry. Maybe she sees her face in the mirror. It shows that she is not happy, and she doesn't have what the other characters have.

I remember seeing the cocept art with Delilah and Steban sharing some very wholesome and romantic moments, and I ship them! My favorite one that got a chuckle is when they drew on a little sticky, Steban wanted a kid with her and Delilah friend-zoned him, it was very wholesome though.

There's so much feeling in this page! Such a mix of emotions in each panel, wow! It's bittersweet and beautiful. Despite the tough time that Holly is going through, it's so lovely to see how supportive and caring her family is. And you can really feel the deep sense of emptiness that Delilah has. All of these characters are so lovable, and you really just want to see them all get what they want. The story so far has been such an unexpected twist for Martin! He's just suddenly gained a strong sense of meaning in his life that he lacked for so long, and he found it in the most unexpected place! It seems like he started off the story trying to force a change that he wanted, thinking it was the right thing for him. But now he's starting to accept that fate is steering him in another, unknown direction, and there's nothing he can really do about it. But he will come to find that there is something much better in store for him that what he planned. Martin's story arc carries such a nice and powerful message, that sometimes good things can come into our lives in the most unexpected ways. Wonderful page Skailla!

I love how in just a single page y’all showed how multi-faceted the town is along with one of the story’s central messages. Seeing the Warrens grieve, the nobles try to put on a good image despite being weighed down by personal struggles, and seeing the Diggers experience joy despite the curse is a perfect demonstration of the variety of the cast and their feelings. And overall, Martin’s message is one that I and I’m sure several other people will or already relate to: change is often times scary and sometimes even unpleasant, but it can also be the key to finding your true calling in a world filled with so many possibilities, good and bad. Amazing page Skailla 👍!

Wow look at this go Martin! Looks like all the adventures heating dragged into has gotten him to see a different side of things and fate. Poor Holly she looks really heart broken but it’s great to see that she is surrounded by the warmth and love of her family. Ohhhhhhhh interesting between Delilah and Baltazar wonder what’s all the gift giving about if it’s to make her feel better or an apology gift. But something there’s me that she is not truly happy deep down there is something else. This is an incredible page ☺️☺️☺️

Ooooh I love the progression of Martin's honest writing! This is really showing that he has found the greatest inspiration to his story, his adventure. Where on earth does Balt find these lavish gifts and where does his money come from?

Wow!! Look at Martin go!!! I’ve been waiting for this moment for the entire book, the scene where Martin found his calling and finally pursues inspiration!! I definitely think his character arc has been what makes the first book shine, especially since he is so relatable. I think everyone’s struggled with change at one point in their life, it we should learn to embrace it instead of ejecting it. Poor Holly. I can’t imagine her pain, but she’s lucky to have such a supportive family. I also loved that moment with DELILAH!! It explains how she gets her trademark pendant, which I noticed in an old NNorthvember artwork actually belonged to Balt’s mother! I find it most fascinating how Martin’s words seem to reflect the thoughts of the characters in each panel: Marsha finding purpose and peace in her chaotic home life, Holly feeling belonging with her family, and Delilah longing for change. Overall, this scene is beautifully done, and I’m so proud of you Skailla! Let’s hope he keeps writing! :p

I knew it! Reflecting had some positivity! Also my long interest in Baltazar x Deli contenues. It really feels Balt tries, he must care but doesn't know how to handle it. He tries to offer comfort and welth when she desires freedom. I truelly hope they could be happy together even tho I feel they're doomed. ... I love this page, how Martins writings flow trough these different families and their many feelings.
