“Don’t Trust Her.” Oooh, that scraggly handwriting looks like it was written right before a catastrophe! Clueless as Martin might be, Steban sure knows better than all of them what that means… His expression and the editing in that last panel is amazing! It really emphasizes how scared he is at the realization of those words- just as everything was going well, he sees something that jolts him back into the terrors of his past. You can really see the fear and shock in his eyes! I can’t wait to see what happens next! Ooh, and Martin better hide that compass before someone walks in! P.S. I was mistaken yesterday when you posted that the book had been finished- I thought that page 212 was the last, but I was wrong! Sorry! 😅 If I can, I’ll buy the PDF! I cannot WAIT to see where the story goes from here, awesome page!

Oh boy, that look on Steban's face and the ominous text just say everything, don't they? 👀 It's like he knew immediately who "her" refers to! I can almost feel the sense of dread starting to creep over him, and picture the Shut Eye flashback playing through his mind! The simple way you convey such a strong sense of eeriness and suspenseful anticipation here is really remarkable! This is too good to just wait another week to see what happens! Now that the third issue of Book 1 is out, I'm definitely going to get it asap and read ahead! 😁

Oh my…Steban seems to be having some PTSD again! This seems to be a common theme now for the poor fellow. If this was a movie, I can totally see a dolly zoom on Steban’s face right now. And what is that, do I hear the faint lyrics of Shut Eye in the distance….?
