Looks like Hank has a moral compass that's slightly off of violence's end. He's definitely serving under Vernon due to fear which he is trying so hard to hide. You can see it in his eyes that he wants to do what he thinks is right and Vernon wants to take everything by force.

Wow, the next to last page of Book 1! I can't believe we've finally made it to this point, what a milestone! Congratulations Skailla!! It's even harder to believe that I've been following this comic now for three years!! Almost since it began! Just amazing how time has flown by... As always, I'm so glad to be a part of the journey! And you really left us on a cliffhanger here, didn't you? XD Oh boy, I hope we won't have to wait too long to see what happens next!

LAST PAGE??? What a WILD ride this has been!! I loved looking forward to a new page every week, always made my day better! I'm looking forward to seeing the next page though, I wonder what it's gonna be 👀 I wonder how loyal Hank is to Oddwind. I wonder if he'll eventually end up abandoning the Scorpions at some point in favor of Oddwind 🤔 Finding out Vernon has connections to the Devil is CRAZYY though!! I wonder if Vernon himself is some sort of mystical being like the Devil, or maybe just has mystical powers, hence the venom. It's all pretty interesting to think about! Amazing page, as always!! Can't wait to see the last page 💕

Nice to finally be getting some more Vernon lore! Could the witch (probably the Devil) have planned this as a means of burning down Oddwind? What could Vernon’s “fate” be 🤔? Lots of questions with some surely amazing answers down the line! Great page Skailla 👍!

If you’re talking about the mark in Hank’s eye, that’s from where Steban threw sand in his eye when Hank was attacking him. I don’t want to think about how painful that must be, even if he is a villain, poor Hank! Page 182, I believe!

OHHH MY GOODNESSS!! The second to last page of No North book 1- this is insane. It’s been such a wild and amazing journey and I’m so happy I got to be on it with everyone! I think No North is probably the most underrated thing I’ve ever seen, the art, the story the characters- all of it is just incredible and I don’t think even Disney or anyone else could match it. It’s crazy to think, even with this many pages, that it’s only book one, and there will be one, or even two, after it! I’m so happy No North has been able to reach the beauty and abundance of pages and books and art and work that it has, and I only hope that it will get the popularity and attention it deserves in the future! It has truly been so wonderful being a part of the pack- This is amazing, see you on the last page!

I have a feeling the “witch” Vernon is talking about is the Devil.🤔 that the Devil approached him and told him Hank is the key to his fate. That she set this all up.

In the bio it is said that Vernon found Hank but I wonder if he "got rid of" Hanks parent (that I believe was the dog in the picture with compass) and Vernon took Hank cause he believed to the witches words

Yess Book 1 was amazing. The story line the plot the colors and characters. I can say No North is one of my favorites comics. Can’t wait for what comes next!!!!!
