But I wonder if I need an in-between to further sell the softness of their union? Like O'hare is actually kinda difficult "substance" to nail down because I'm not animating her, but I kinda pictured a rapid cartoon motion of cartoon smears a bounce step....

I agree with Greg, but honestly I'm a huge fan of your step by step fusiona and absorptions, so an inbetween parte 3 and 2 could really Benedito the final product uwu

What if you added line effects that suggested motion in the last pic? Showcasing a more dramatic shift of O'hare's body 'settling' into its new shape? Maybe the stomach going in one direction to the point it's pulling girth from her derrière? Almost like a water bed.
