Thank you, Robert! 💕 The conversation between Jill and Holly was important to me. It's Holly's final confession, and Jill's response is a final act of sisterhood, an attempt to give Holly a piece of her own strength. Liam is absolutely a loose canon and Jill is challenging his entire identity. His "unbroken" status is his armor, and she's telling him it's also his cage. She's trying to show him that his definition of victory is just another form of defeat. Do we agree with her? 🤔 And you're 100% right to be deeply suspicious of Connor. Josie is taking a massive gamble but in her mind she's activating an asset, not making a friend. It's a desperate move, though. She's just brought a wolf into the hen house, hoping she can make it bite only the farmer. All these disparate strands are about to get very tangled!

Another wonderful episode, where there’s almost too much going on in the dialogue. The exchanges between Holly and Jill at one level appear to be Jill allowing Holly to cleanse her soul of the all-consuming guilt which risks destroying her completely. Jill, compassionate to the end, uses the opportunity to settle accounts with Holly and to lift the burden from her at least in part, so that she can be prepared for what Jill knows is about to happen at the Coming Out. Jill also recognises that Liam is a loose cannon and a rogue element, whose lack of control and refusal to cooperate will jeopardise the rescue mission that they are trying to mount, so she’s doing her very best both to neutralise him and bring him onside. Josie’s freeing of Conner is all very well, but even although he’s been incarcerated for months and has undergone a lot of traumatic surgery, it doesn’t alter the fact that everything we’ve seen from him shows that he’s selfish in the extreme and will only look out for himself. He also therefore poses a serious risk to the overall rescue mission; I sense a disaster in the offing. So many disparate strands…. Masterly plotting, Ms Ahlberg.

Wow! What an amazing episode! We are finally getting to the action and it is getting intense. The drama is high but we are also seeing many things that needed being said and tying up of loose ends and the connecting of dots laid out some time ago. I will be on pins and needles until Part 30 comes out on the 23rd.
