Don't worry, my mind is also always on Jill's flawless... character arc, of course. 😉 I don't think of the sacrifice (which was actually Chris and Kris BOTH) as only simple altruism. That was the ultimate act of rebellion against Bella, too. The part that wanted to take the Hippocratic Oath, the part that always wanted to be a healer, was still alive after all that time in captivity.

Wow, Kris is really taking charge and she's making this work for her. And with her scrubs and locks of black hair she could easily be played by Monica Barbaro in a movie...I know, I know, my beloved muse Emory...I need to stop fantasizing...but your move posters with Jill's flawless derriere is stuck in my head for me reason. Also, Kris what a true heart of gold...despite her suffering...I doubt in real life most trafficking victims would've helped diagnose their john's sick child. I know for a fact some of my very own Xuniverse characters easily and far too eagerly accepted vengeance when Zhang Yong Xu came calling.
