Thank you, Robert! 💕 I'm so pleased you felt the love in that reunion because that's Kris's anchor. It's the one real thing she can hold onto while the world closes in. That joy with Alan is the glimmer of hope. It's not about whether the world is dark - it is. It's about whether you can find a light worth protecting in it. And, in my view, the thing about traps is that they're often built from good intentions and terrible choices, not just pure evil. Benji's a mess of contradictions right now, and Kris is walking a tightrope over all of them.

Panel 37 billboard...wink!

Another WTF hold your breath chapter, and all while Kris is looking so beautiful and happy with Alan. The depth of Ben’s betrayal and deceit is simply breathtaking. Not only has he played Kris, but also Kayla. His alter ego is very well named! I had strong suspicions beforehand, but it gives me no satisfaction to see them fall into place. It also means that Kris is in an infinitely more vulnerable position than she knows: the trap is closing on her. It also makes you wonder what nefarious plans he might have for Kayla: psychopaths are never gentle for long. Please don’t close this season without a glimmer of hope, Emory. I for one couldn’t bear it. And especially so after the sheer joy and beauty of your art illustrating her reunion with Alan. That wasn’t sex, it was love. The details like her hand clutching the bedclothes and the condensation on the window - genius.
