BTS Update #1 - Map/Menu Screenshot
🕑 Added 2023-03-13 16:11:22 +0000 UTCFirst look at the map menu which you can access while paused. The main map on the left is how you see crew territory and can select icons to set your GPS. There's no player position marking/arrow on this map; you're player position arrow is on the right, on your Satellite GPS system. So you have to find your position from the roads/place name.
I've been experimenting with a system where the English place names on the left/white map, are only shown once you have visited that area. But, not sure if it'll make it into the final version since it feels a bit lame. I'll see if I can think of a better way of implementing it.
I'll show a video of this at some point, it works perfectly right now, but I have some other things I need to do finish before that.

mostly just patreons, but the beta is just a more raw and early version of the demo and the demo will be available for everyone

The beta will mostly be a patreon thing, a few non-patreon people will get access for testing though. The full demo will be for everyone.

The demo isn't coming out on March 25th, right now the demo release date is just '2023'. The beta testing for the demo will start in the summer, and then the demo will release after that's completed

this looks sick i have never seen a map system like this in any racing game, also a friend keeps asking me when is the demo supposed to release and I told him 25 March (I think I saw it on Twitter but I can't remember) is that date the right one or is it later down the road?
