Development Update #19

Nice variation in this update, most of these kits will not be their own cars. The ones that will be are; Border Racing FD, 930 Kremer, 930 WARM, Veilside Wide z32, esprit NSX and Sorcery 360 NSX. As always though, any parts that fit the stock chassis will be available in regular customization.
The non-GTR versions of the ER34 will have a different engine but they have their own customization parts that are separate from the R34 GTR. Same goes with other GTR/non-GTRs.
The 350z chassis is still a WIP but the exterior is finished so the bodykit making process has started.
See you in roughly 2 weeks!

The reason these cars are seperate from the base model is because parts are incompatible with stock body parts. Veilside Fortune kits and the Greddy8/AC987 are good examples.

Ikr. How about some playable updates? Also doesn't make any sense for some of these cars to be separate cars just because of their aero kits.

Only 10-13 chassis of the 22 seen so far will be in the initial release then the rest will be added in updates over time; Jem mentioned this in the Patreon channels on Discord. Also technically the community is making these, not Jem; he has been commissioning artists to create the car/kit models.

Okay I see 100+ car models where is an actual game, completed loops/map,free roam events, story, multiplayer I'm going to pull my support soon let the community make the cars pushin p on asseto has made half these custom models anyways if I see another car model I might shit bricks

imagine going out of your way to make sure a zonda gets added instead of a celica gtfour, pulsar gtir, mr2, soarer, lancia delta integrale, c5 corvette, integra, sti 22b, 3000gt vr4, eclipse gsx, golf gti, s2000, miata, altezza, ferrari testarossa, f40, bmw e30, e36... but to each their own, im just a jealous bro that missed the kickstarter

the porsches that are already in the game make more sense as they have alot of Japanese modifications around them like veilside and it fits more plus its not a hyper car

With one of the game's inspirations being Midnight Club 3, the Zonda was not a surprise to me at all; Jem has also expressed interest in adding mid 2000s exotics to the game.

why the zonda. that was unexpected. was hoping to have all jdm because now it seems that a hypercar is going to out do the rest of the cars in performance and doesnt quite add up to me. in my opinion this should have been a different type of older super car like the 90s lambo or something a bit more fitting that would also have room for visual and other modifications. great update anyway still looking amazing i just dont think the zonda or any other hyper cars are needed and just not for me
