Woadedfox

I will certainly try and say hello now and again when you are streaming when I can. :) thanks

e Pon

Please feel free to come say hi to me if you feel like it too! Maybe even tell me about what you're getting up to outside of art and such. You're more than just some guy that draws and I know that! So always know you have a friend here!

Woadedfox

I made sure to take your advice McClaw, going to put my account on hold, and I might come back to it at some point. Again, I should thank you for the support you have given me over my time on here. :)

Woadedfox

Thanks Pon, you are right about it not being my time yet, I think I know that and it would do some good to step back and live life for a time. Hopefully I will come back with some new stuff to show. Anyway, I'll be sure to keep an eye on your work also while I might be dormant. Thanks for the support Pon. :)

Woadedfox

Thank you! and thanks fro the support along the way. :)

Woadedfox

Thank you. I'll try :)

Well it was a hard decision to make, thats for sure, but I think it needs to be done. I understand not seeing the problem with uploading enough, but for me personally, it was just grinding at me that I wasn't able to get things done, when I said I would, or I had promised on, and I think a lot of it was just not enjoying what I was doing. I don't plan to give up on art, but what I am to do with it next, I have no idea really. But thank you. :)

Woadedfox

I am toutched you like the work I have made, and watched it for so long. Glad I could help some people feel better with it also. So it was nice for you to tell me some of the pictures I have made had an impact on you. I really don't have any intentions on giving up art all together, Mainly, I think I have lost my way with it and go to a point where I am not enjoying what I do. Patreon and commissions just did not feel right also. But, with that said, I'll be back at some point, not overly soon, but I certainly am not going to abandon those who enjoy what I make. Thank you. :)

McClaw

It's much easier to destroy than create. I'd suggest "mothballing" your Patreon rather than completely removing it. But if you're not enjoying what you're doing for it (or at least something that comes from that, such as money), then there's no reason to continue, is there?

Satanic Cabal

All right. Good luck on whatever you're planning on doing in your life.

It sounds like you need to take a step away from all this and focus on what makes you happy right now. I'm sure you can come back to art, patreon and other things when the time is right but from the sound of it that time isn't now. We all understand and will always keep an eye out for you. We all love your art, you have such a talent but also skills that you've developed so well. You really are a very good artist, I can't say that enough. But you can't do something if it no longer makes you happy. I trust that you have other things you want to invest in right now and I wish you all the best with that. I hope that you find a new place with art eventually, a way that fits with you that keeps you happy. Perhaps having the pressure of providing to people who support you with money isn't for you? Either way I'm sure you'll find what works for you eventually. Good luck!

ZePompom

You made me cry :'-( Good luck, I wish you the best, I'll miss your art a lot.

Robert Wright

Best wishes to you, sometimes it is the best thing to focus on life for a while, and maybe one day you will enjoy your art again!

You know... at the end of the day it's of course your decision, and I can actually see the point as far as not uploading too often goes. But whenever I see a post like this I can't help but wonder "why are good artists doing this to themselves"? I see a lot of talented people in the fandom saying things like "my art isn't good enough to deserve it" or "I've failed everyone"... even when I'm legitimately not seeing it, and honestly enjoy and support what they create! It's quite sad that this happens. Also I suggest simply reverting your account to "patron only" if you really wish to go this route: That way people who follow you here can still watch you, whereas you can keep watching others.

Lisitza

OMG, no way this is happening. Ive been enjoing your arts so much and so long, you formed your own style and I like it! Its sad to hear that you "don't have the passion to work, nor want to work on anything" but I understand you as an artist, we all have times when you think thats the end, nothing will come new, but trust me, It will. That reading of forms, that light combinations, these shapes always make me happy for days! You will be in my heart anyways, will exist the patreon or not. Hope you will not forget this all. Where will you be then?
