Knight at Rest
🕑 Added 2024-05-23 22:07:28 +0000 UTCIt’s been a while!
I finally got around playing with these pictures I took when I stayed in London in that little church. I’d like to imagine my knight more pious than average but also very gay 😌♥️ I genuinely wish we stayed longer there, I woke up that morning and my eyes wouldn’t stop tearing up! Probably explaining why everything pictures has such a sad expression on it 🫠
I wanted to say thank you for sticking around ♥️ I know I’ve been elusive for the last couple of weeks. Mostly dealing with my health and the struggle of creating content when the world feels so horrible. I’ve only found the energy to reshare resources and find new ways to donated and participate in helping somehow!
But I haven’t forgotten you! I have a couple more sets I’ll be posting before the end of the month! I hope you understand- thank you again 🥹♥️
If you have any advice about being creative during this time I would love to hear xx I’ve been struggling a lot and it’s taken quite the toll on me 😮💨

Hey lovely human! Happy to see ya post. I totally understand feeling overwhelmed with the world. Mental health is also no joke. As for being creative when your feeling down maybe try to include what your feeling or try to portray the things on your mind in unique ways. I've been trying to do that myself and I think it helps.

I totally understand how you feel about everything going on in the world. One thing that's helped me is to think of empathy like a muscle. Just like you can’t exercise a muscle every day without giving it time to heal and get stronger, you need to give your empathy a break, too. Step away from social media for a while and let yourself rest. When you’re ready, you can reengage. It's important to find a balance—don't let your empathy wither away, but don't wear yourself out either.

The background reminds me of a church I visited in Dublin last October.
