Announcement: The recent poll made it clear: the community wants to see the Ranma gang from different eras messing with each other! With that mandate, we decided to cancel some of our planned pinup content and are instead focusing on comic art for the holidays.

Update (01.01.2025): Classic Akane's dialog balloons and caption borders have been changed from dark blue to standard black after readers communicated trouble reading the montage text. Remake Akane's dialog balloons remain colored though, so that it's clearer when she's speaking during the montage.
The Akanes get cozy with themselves during the holidays, bonding over the common thing in their life that drives them crazy.
Variants include: Text Edition. An isolated view of the montage action is also provided as a bonus!

After some testing and reflection, we decided to change "Classic Akane" dialog balloons and captions to be normal black bordered, while Remake Akane's dialog has the new style. That should hopefully clear up any confusion.

Thanks for the feedback. The artist is trying to avoid intruding on the montage action as much as possible, and dropping Chibi heads- while very expressive- would work against that goal. I could see us using that style though in a different situation where the art was not so erotic.

It's cute to see that "younger" Akane is still a bit naive of the RanmaBooks world 😁🤭 Letting two Ranma in the same place, it can only finish like this 😋 I love this kind of mix up, matching 2 versions of the same caracters can give new ideas 🥰 I can't wait to see the next part (parts? 😘)

may i suggest adding in (simplified) Chibi heads of the repective characters? it would both clear it up even more, and enable you to show emotions in ways text is simply unable to

Modern Akane has the light blue text box, and Classic Akane has the dark blue text box. We actually doubled the border thickness to try and make it more obvious. We could have made Modern Akane have a "pink" box, for example, but preferred to use themed colors that suited the character, in this case their hair color. 👍

Just one thing, it's a little tricky figuring out which text box goes with which Akane in Panel 04.
