So what's the green-butt bug?
D.S. Ryelle
It would be snacking on a piece of drywall, for starters...

I have cnidophobia, so spheksophobia (and apiphobia) is included. I'm right there with you!
Hornets are sweethearts, really. And they eat wasps, which is nice.
Hornets are peaceful ^^

Until recently my partner was a swimming pool technician, he also hates wasps
I'm indifferent to most wasps, but red wasps are hell spawn.

What about bumblebee? He cute little and fat?
Jon Barker
Why, no. Not at all. They were talking about *murder* hornets ππ
Hate to see what your yellow jacket would look like. Those things are just a$$holes...

Hornet is my high school mascot. They weren't so beefy ...
if itβs a bug and it flies i immediately cry π₯²

I know, it's hard to convince them that's not an ideal place as it's protected and provides cover from predators. If they start building a nest get rid of it early on and best to only do it early in the morning or later in the evening to avoid them being super active and aggressive. Eventually they figure out this isn't a good place for a home. Though they are just trying to protect their home, young, and hard work. I look forward to mine as they are excellent at getting rid of pest insects on my balcony plants and as long as I am not aggressive with them or leave food around they leave me alone. π

As someone with Spheksophobia, if wasps could do their thing without me ever having to see them, or even think about them, ever again, that would be great.
Ben Hed
Yeah thatβs cool and all, but if they could NOT build their nest right under my front porch thatβd be great ππ
Well..... They are good a pest control so are good for agriculture but still, they don't need to be so mean.
I know that wasps are important as well, that they do important job in nature, but... Just no π

Aww wasps get no love. I spend a lot of time around them. They are amazing hunters and diligent parents. Also amazing builders - paper wasp nest and mud nests are impressive when you really look at them. But I am biased, I'm an entomologist. Btw, I have never been stung by a wasp, only a bee before. But I don't hold it against them.
Grace 'Gengar' Soria
Nobody does. They're the unbridled assholes of the insect world.
Hornets are quite peaceful... i guess... at least they never stung me although we have nests in our garden :D
Werenβt they talking about death hornets a few months ago?
MechaBlerd
Man, Hornet looks ready to pop.
This is scientifically accurate.
If wasps could talk their first words would almost definitely be that π€£π€£

A bee will sting you as a last resort. Everything else will sting you seemingly because they can.

I tell people if it's poofy it's your friend and if it's sleek then it's full of hate.
