Daniel Stevens
Thomas the Tank-engine because my name is Tom. Very generic. Also Tomzanetti after the singer. From my friend who likes Tomzanetti
Eldritch
Nickname at work is the Viking I've got long hair & a beard, but the guy who started calling me that genuinely thought I was from up that end of Europe because of my appearance. I'm not 😆
Hahahah funny number hahahahaha
I get called turtle because I'm a serious introvert and need to hibernate in blankets after seeing people 😂
A service user nicknamed me Peppa (like peppa pig). It stuck and now my partner and a lot of friends/family have started adopting it now too! 🤣🐷
In elementary and middle school my nickname was N because me and my best friend have a same name and we were always in the same group. Her nickname was V. They're from our last names. Though we couldn't get the teachers use them... And when they asked a question, we were both ready to answer it and teacher said "Heidi" and we both answered.
I adore them in that first panel! ❤️
Hands down my favorite
Emily F
My partner calls me “cakes” 😂🎂
Sebastian Ortega
I lost it at "meatball" 😂
Epi
My hubs calls me Noodle because I used to say “I’m a good noodle!” not realizing it was a Spongebob quote lol
SesshouFan22
My nana and Grandma both gave all their grandkids nicknames before anybody knew what genders they were. My nana and grandma both called me Critter until the days they died. My aunt still calls me Critter unless she's gonna yell at me for something. She calls me by my name so seldom that her youngest son actually didn't know my real name until he was almost 5 years old. One day he just kept saying Critter over and over and over and finally my aunt asked him "What's his name?" and of course he answered "Critter!" It took us over half an hour of laughing and almost falling over to convince him my name is not in fact Critter lol he still exclusively calls me Critter though so every once in a while we all freeze and my aunt asks him "What's his name?!" So far he always answers correctly now lol
Dana Gabriel
😂😂😂 “There goes the eyebrow...” Good one, Manny!
Here's what Dana is talking about: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vYNMo8b_Ybg Great story!

In elementary school, I was this tiny, blonde, delicate little girl, but I had no patience for the boys silly antics, and more often then not, one would find me duke it out with some bully, or sometimes, even with the nice kids, if they rubbed me the wrong way. First, an eyebrow would arch up, then would come “ The Look”, and then, fists would start flying. That particular weekend, there was a Laurel and Hardy marathon, that the whole class saw, one movie in particular: “ The Devil’s Brother”. So Monday, business as usual. I get to school, some numb nuts pisses me off, “ The Look” comes out.... Then one of the boys, remarked on it, more so that usual, and the class musician, had nothing better to do, than play the Fra Diavolo song, with a bunch of boys ( and some girls too, hmpf!) chanting as one “ Fra Diavolo, Diavolo, Diavolo!” . It didn’t matter how many butts I kicked,in retaliation, the name stuck, and I became Fra Diavolo. 😁
Aelan Ryland
My dad always called me Menard.. I never found it where its from
Tonya Downing
Bahahahahahahahahahaha 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
DarkMasterofCupcakes
My uncle calls me "Peanut"...which was apparently the name of a dog that my mom and her siblings owned when they were little.
Jenny Young
Oh my gawd.... she’s too cute!!
Kandias Overton
Pumpkin
So my brother calls me Unka cause supposedly my dad was watching a movie with native americans when we were really little and my brother thought the name sounded funny. one of my guy friends from high school still calls me MJ. My other friends in high school call me Rikku because it was my favorite character from final fantasy and i liked the name. one time i was called Rafiki because of my love of lion king and so now my internet alias is Rikkurafiki. My husband and i call each other beer or beerbeer, shortened to bb because we never liked the sound of babe or baby for each other cause it was too weird.
rae of sunshine
i used to be called reese’s pieces by my best friend, a sweet tooth
this is sooooo precious!
My fiance and I say "meatloaf" when we're going to bed because there was a moment where I thought he said meatloaf (when he was saying Night, love) and I repeated it like, "meatloaf? 🤨" Aaaand it kind of just stuck now haha
Lin
Awwww!!!
LOL!
A manager at work calls me Chick because I gave him crap one day for calling me Ma'am (I know it's a respect thing but hes twice my age and it just bugs me) So ever since hes called me Chick instead.
oldrugger82
If you say so, Scooter... ;)
oldrugger82
That's adorable, tater tot :)
SinisterVibe
Ok this is one of my new favourites!
Margaret Anne Knight
Adore Pixie upside down on Brutus’ head!😻
Randy Jenkins
The guys at work have a few different nicknames for me. Things like Randallicious and Randazzler or Razzledazzle. One changes the emphasis on the syllables in my name (RANdall) and calls me RanDELL. I'm short, stocky (fat), and have grey hair and a kinda bushy grey beard. As I was leaving work one night, a night worker I met on his way in looked up and said, "Hey, Papa Smurf! How's it going?" That one caught me off guard.
scldragonfish
CuuuuuuuTEE!!
Good morning baked beans.. lol I snorted water out my nose.. 🤣🤦🏼♀️ Too funny!!!
My nickname is Plant 🤣
Lauren Eras
Pixie is too pure for this world!!!!!
Ryan Sunderman
My name inside immediate family is Bugman- I had this little toy bug that I'd always play with- my aunt still calls me that, even though I'm 20.
Mascara Pony. It came about when I worked in a kitchen. People would shorten Marcy to Marce, then the sous chef made it Marscapone, Scary Pony, and finally Mascara Pony. He was the funniest guy.
CSDX
I created a wrestling character known as CrazySean. My cousin started calling me that, and soon his friends followed suit, some getting excited when I'd visit him. We jokingly called it a cult following of sorts. ....at least I THINK it was done as a joke, anyway. Either way, it stuck with me to the point that it's now my internet alias. Well, partly, anyway. The DX inclusion is just cause I was really into the 2006 iteration of D-Generation X.
Catt
Pin Apple 🙄 my wife has been calling me that since i got my wisdom teeth out and said it wrong like 3 years ago.
Cathy W.
My hubby sometimes calls me Sonic because of the way my hair looks in the morning.
Brutus’ sense of satisfaction when he teaches her something new 😭 I call my bf Lobster, and everyone thinks it’s because of Friends “he’s her lobster,” but it’s actually because he has scarily strong toes that grip the back of my ankles and freak me out 😂 So romantic!
Elliot Gallogly
My food based ones are (1) Waffle because as a kid, someone misread my dead deadname as Offy/Waffy and it fit with my love of potato waffles, and (2) for a short while, Buttons, because I loved the chocolate Buttons.
Wayward Stitches
K because a friend thought my name was spelled with a K for the longest time. It’s not, but the nickname stuck. To be fair my BFF’s name is spelled with a K, and we have the same name so that’s probably why the other friend thought mine was spelled with a K. Nina because a different BFF just started calling me that. 🤷♀️ Macgyver was my radio call sign in the military because I was always able to fix broken equipment with the most basic materials and tools.
Celine Gorman
My nickname since birth has been Beanie Baby because I was as tiny as one
So my sis was getting a tooth pulled and the hospital she was at was up a very large hill. Knowing she would want someone there i climbed that very large mountainous hill and was from then on dubbed Samwise.
My dad used to call me lapwing (pempė in our language), cause he thought it sounded cute. My sisters, however, had a different nickname for me depending on the situation, and it always rhymed with my name, which is Tina. Dressed to go somewhere fancy? Tina-Malvina (name of a fairy that wore a fancy blue dress) Found out I'm flat-footed? Tina-Penguin'a Got sick? Tina-Quarantina God forbid, found out I had a crush on a boy? Tina-Valentina The list goes on and on, and the older I get, the more I love it :D
CrispyRogue
Oh my god that was so cute.
Dr Geld
This is so cute!!!
Cherian Drouillard
Purplefish. I was apparently obsessed with a purple mermaid cartoon as a smol child, and refused to answer to anything else for months. I still get called Purplefish, so I got a large tattoo of a purple betta on my shoulder/chest.
Jennings J Rozzell
WOMBAT: Waste of Money, Brains and Talent. Named by the Scout/Sniper squad I supported as a medic.
A
Meatball is an excellent nickname on its own but it’s even better for a tiny kitten.
Amy Poli
I have SOOOOO many nicknames that I am kinda weirded out when I hear my real name. LOL
Andrea Aase
Mine is The Deeds. My nephew couldn’t say Andrea when he was little, so he said Andida, which was shortened to Dida. That stuck. Then, because my brother-in-law is a huge fan of The Big Lebowski (and really, who isn’t?), he started calling me The Deeds, which had also stuck. I’m the only one in my family with a nickname.
Rosemary Lyons
Mine was Blue. Supposedly because I was so small when I was born all my father saw was blue eyes.
Mine is belly. Because apparently that's the shortened version of Isabella
Fantasylover4evr
This is so precious! Pixie is adorable! My nickname is Ray for two reasons. 1. My nephew when he was learning to speak couldn't say Rachel, came out as "Ray Ray". 2. Friends call me a Ray of sunshine
Mine is Soda because of Shasta Cola.
Gremlin8723
Mine is Gremlin. Because I do aircraft salvage....and also manage to FUBAR anything good in my life.
Julie Rentz
Mine is Boo. When I was young people called me booboo. A take off my last name. I would inform them that I was not a mistake....I was planned (kind of a running joke) and after a while it was just shortened to Boo. Also I have 2 cousins that when they were toddler could not say Aunt JuJu....sonic came out as Ate Doodoo....guess what stuck...
Kevin Menard
Thru a very long story involving an idiot on an email list, I got nicknamed for the town I live in.
I got the nickname Stewart because my friend got drunk and forgot my name. My name is nowhere near Stewart. I also got called Scooter for a day because of another drunken remembering of my name. My name is stephanie.
My name is Claire which either gets lengthened to Clairebear or shortened to Bear. My friend's daughter also couldn't really say it when she was younger so I am also Claire Pear 😂 Since I have red hair, my brother is also fond of calling me Rooster or Ms Rouge - I think this all shows I will answer to pretty much anything 😂
traycon3
Pixie upside down on Brutus' head is adorable!!! Also, my nickname is Lady. I don't remember the story behind it, lol.
G G
Not an interesting nickname, but in Kindergarten my teacher regularly called me Lizzy (my name is Elizabeth). I was a really stubborn kid and adamantly responded to only my actual name. At parent teacher conferences my teacher told my mom she thought I had hearing issues because I wouldn’t answer her. It was because I didn’t think she was talking to me since she used a nickname instead of my actual name 😂
Party Mexican
Pixie being called meatball 😭
mrb
You have made Pixie soot cute. Brutus is so patient and understanding. Thank you for your work!
Bubblegum
Ah, I love it! I love how Pixie just loves Randal, even though he's not very nice to her.
Eleanor Butler
Poor Randal’s face in the last one
ashie23
Ok this is legit how I interact with my friends 😂
