Theory (strip)

Like every subtle facial expression, every little detail, or even HOW a character says something must've been so carefully crafted or have some deeper, profound meaning!
Sometimes the the curtain is blue just because THE CURTAIN IS BLUE. It ain't that deep!
It's no big deal, I just think it's funny.

Pixie has left the chat ... and apparently someone explained to her what war is on the sly. This treasonous deed should be investigated.

Pixie’s last expression, though.😝💕

This reminded me of a conversation I had with my Dad and Brothers. I was talking about Romeo & Juliet from the 90s and they turned it into a cars and guns debate. lmao!

I like how you post individual and strip, cuz for some reason when I view it on the website the strip works better, but when I view it on the app the panels work better

You mean the way some of us study every line, every angle and color choice, every word chosen for the dialogue, in this very strip? ;) No worries, it's all good!

I love this! We did this to “the fellowship of the rings” in high school and it annoyed me so much I never read the rest. I was too busy looking for themes to enjoy It!

I feel their is an entire class or lesson in "Letting the watcher overthink." How to form a story in the way that makes the watcher obsess and overthink so they have to keep watching to see if they are right!

This is why, more and more, I prefer watching TV alone.

The curtain is blue meme hit around the time that John Ringo was writing the first of his Black Tide Rising series. There's a line in the first book that refers to the blue curtains in a boat because of that meme.

Poor pixie. Her little seated pose in panel 2 is adorable, is there any way we can get a background just of that without the side cutting her off?

There's imagination, and there's overthinking.

I got unreasonably sad inside as I saw pixie walk away… the stress and anxiety that writers get just to please the readers… ItS aLmOsT LiKE tHe AutHoR iS tRYiNg To tElL uS sOmThInG!?!??

OK I have to say I love the detail you DID put into the design of the acorn, bottlecap, and paperclip armor and such. Something so silly yet you still drew a really awesome picture. I am impressed. This is coming from someone who wishes they could digitally draw, and who loves heraldry, crests/coats of arms, armory, and so forth. (I draw, but VERY slowly and with pencil and paper)
THIS!! Holy cow, and that's Level 1 compared to French Literature teachers. They are on a whole higher level! My English literature teacher mentioned how at least with the English ones you can argue, talk about what you think. But the French ones he encountered (like the ones from my whole education) will mark your paper down if you don't take their opinions as Gospel.

I blame English Teachers. Book: "The blue curtains were flowing in the breeze as it came through the windows." Teacher: "So from this, we can extrapolate a feeling of depression, as if the Author wanted to tell us about their own life and feeling like they were merely going with the flow." Author: "I meant the Curtains were blue and someone left the window open, Geez."

Pixie is not impressed 😑....🤣
I totally agree. Reminds me also of GOT where people just went mad for one season I personally loved because I didn't expect too much, it's just TV, I just sit back and enjoy... but when playing this may mean people are engaging in the story, always better than people who always complain everything is boring ahah
I still dream the day Pixie will have her round fluffy head again 😅
AlexKorobeiniki
personally, when i create something I DREAM that people will care enough to theory craft! It means that they're engaging, they're invested!

You still haven’t touched upon the shipping fanfics…

I'm sorry to hear that! Pets are family, no matter what some people say!

Awww... Pixie looks so sad before she walks away!

Poor Pixie! 🥺 (my Pixie passed away yesterday. She was a good kitty)

Is it weird that I want to know now to?

I never liked "the death of the author."

Oh my gosh I can relate to this. As a kid, every time I told my siblings about the story I was playing, they'd get too into its not-fun strategy and stuff so I'd just get bored and walk away!
Kari Furness
"The curtain is blue because that was the color of fabric that was available, coordinated with the furnishings and wall color, and also fit within the scenery budget constraints" "No no, I'm sure it symbolizes the character's struggle to find peace and reconcile with their family"
Jessica Steele
Omg people do this with books too!!!! They just put wayyyyyyy more thought into it than necessary.
