Houdini Tutorial: Ink in Water Part 1
🕑 Added 2020-07-31 15:57:37 +0000 UTCHi everyone! I've been, always, fascinated with this type of ink in water animation. So I decided to try and find a simple way to create this with Houdini. I love so much the result that I want to share with you how to make this ink in water. This will be a tutorial divided into two parts. On this first one, we are going to understand how we can create this smooth simulation and render it with redshift. On the next one, we are going to add custom velocity and mix colors.
Hope you enjoy this Ink in Water tutorial!

Hi Jacktone! I had to clean the cache files because they were huuuge. so yeah I had a lot of voxels. you can control that with the voxel resolution on your pyro object. If your pc is crashing it is because you are trying to use a lot of memory and your pc cant handle that much. it happened to me a lot while working with volumes.

Hey man, fantastioc tut, i have a question, by the time you were done, how many voxels did the simulation have? I seem to be hitting massively high numbers on mine. Thank you,
