My dog venom will just inhale the treat. I have to break them up so he doesn't do that. He is a 140lb came corso lol now his mother who I adopted is 92lbs and if I give her a whole treat. She immediately runs off to her bed and eats it there immediately lol funniest thing. Now with her I could totally take the treat away if I was fast enough lol 😆 venom on the other hand forget it lol he just inhales lol 😆

My dog doesn't do this, but I think a contributing factor is what I do with his food. I'll occasionally give him food, let him eat a small bit, take the food away, add a treat to it, and then return it. I've done this with all of my dogs, and it seems to prevent all forms of food guarding.

depending on the treat we take it away but only if they show now interrest at it

My dog Jolene does this! Makes no sense, but if I give her some of my food, she won't. Only when it's one of her treats
