They are not but chiggers are The Worst. I've been bitten by fleas, mosquitos, flies and ticks and the worst bites are those. They itch and even hurt a little forever.

Idk if they're the same mites but around here those almost microscopic red dots are called Chiggers and yes you do have to be careful talking about them in public (my grandparents live off a road called Chigger rd and giving directions can get dicey if you're not being super careful to enunciate 馃槄馃槄馃槄)

I'm a Nursery Hand who constantly sees spider mite damage before the mites. Then you have predatory mites which are even smaller

Technically Pixie is right in that she can see a bacteria XD You cant see them in details, but you sure can "see" alot of them by just looking
