Yes! I thought the same thing, their realtionship and Wan's attachment to Pleng is definitely unhealthy and irl would be concerning but as characters they work so perfectly together. It also really helps that Pleng immediately sets boundaries and pushes back like "you don't own me" and "I had and will have other people in my life besides you". Their chemistry and subtle power dynamic struggles (on every level) are fascinating. Plus they are somehow so adorable too
