comm WIP - blitz 3D blockout
🕑 Added 2020-11-08 22:48:36 +0000 UTCnow that i got the approval on this blockout to move on to sculpting, i thought i'd share a little early WIP of my first ever 3D commission! this one is for canvaskat on twitter - his character blitz, a somewhat mammalian lizard-like character ๐ฆ
the initial 2D sketch is below (there are written in notes from the commissioner that i used too). there were a few additional tweaks to the body proportions that the commissioner had me make in 3D to get it to the soft friendly shape that you see above, but ref shows colors and future outfit!

This looks incredible so far! The shapes you make are so amazing, so smooth, but so anatomically coherent and believable! I'm really looking forward to seeing how this one comes out, I know it'll be amazing!
