I was looking forward to finally putting out an update relatively quickly after two slower ones. After the 0.7 release I took a few days to rest and I also did the $25 reward image and I felt recharged and ready to jump back into work. Unfortunately, sometimes life has other ideas.
There's been a terrible tragedy in my family. I know that's pretty vague but I wish not to elaborate further. As a result I've been devastated and disenchanted the last few days. I couldn't find the mental capacity to focus on work, hence, the progress has not been ideal. However, I can still make up for the lost time and I will be working hard to bring you the next update.
The show must go on.

Apologies for my lateness, but despite that, I still want to extent my condolences to you and your family. As the other commenters have noted, family certainly comes first, and is much more important in the long run than a lapse in productivity. I hope you can come to some peace and closure, even while knowing that often it is not a sprint, but a marathon. I'm looking forward your future releases, and will happily wait as long as needed. You gotta take care of you first and foremost. And everyone handles tragedy in thier own way. Some can bury themselves in work while others can't do anything. Forcing yourself to be creative when your heart is wrecked will only result on a poor product and won't do you any good. So do what you need to in order to heal and be well.
