Now in his early forties, Dave had developed an incredible customer base, and people came back to him again and again whenever they wanted a new place.
Part of the reason Dave got so many customers was his handsome face and cheeky smile, not to mention the way he looked in his fitted suits.
Dave had always loved working out, and his body had always reflected that.
That was until lockdown happened.
Without the gym and without being able to work, Dave found himself bulking more than he ever had before. He wasn't overly concerned as he'd always been able to bounce back when he started training hard.
But by the time he was able to return to work several months later, he realised how wrong he was.
Dave had an appointment to view a property that he was hoping to sell, which meant for the first time in months, he needed to wear a suit. He hadn't even considered his wardrobe, and when he emerged from the shower and pulled on a particularly snug pair of striped briefs, he had the sudden dawning thought that he didn't think he'd have a suit that would fit him.
Sure, he hadn't doubled in size or anything, but he was definitely a size or two bigger than normal.
Dave grabbed the navy pinstripe suit from the closet, the one that he often wore in winter when he was reaching the peak of bulk season. It was a more generous fit than the rest of his suits, and he was sure that it would fit, even if it was a little uncomfortable.
After a lot of struggling, Dave managed to get on a white shirt and the navy pinstripe suit. The suit pants dug in to his stomach, and were like a second skin on his ass and thighs. The jacket pinched his arms where it was so snug, and the buttons on the shirt were pushed to their limits, but he was at least in a suit, and he promised himself to start doing some home workouts to get his body back on track.
The house he was visiting was around an hour away. By the time he arrived, he was feeling hot and uncomfortable in the skin tight suit and he could feel his briefs wedged between his cheeks with every step he took to the front porch.
The current owner was a newly divorced guy in his late thirties who Dave had worked with before. The guy raised his eyebrows in surprise when he opened the door and saw Dave in his figure hugging suit.
"You look a little different," he said with a slight frown.
Dave laughed and patted his stomach. "Lockdown gave me way too much time to enjoy food."
The guy laughed and ushered Dave inside to show him around.
As they moved from room to room, Dave felt the sweat running down his back and gathering on his chest and under his arms. Granted, it was a warm day, but in the tight suit, Dave felt like he was melting.
"So, that's the house. Do you want to take a look at the yard? I just need to make a quick call."
Dave smiled. "Absolutely."
Relieved to be able to get some air, Dave stepped outside through the double doors and used a tissue to wipe his forehead. He was just about to put it back in his pocket when a breeze lifted it from his fingertips and dropped it on the paved ground.
"Great," Dave sighed, before bending down at the waist to retrieve it.
There was an almighty RRRRIIIIIPPPPPPPP and Dave immediately regretted bending over. His pants had ripped completely down the rear seam, through the crotch and down the inside of his left leg. His brief covered ass was fully exposed and he had no idea how he was going to get back to his car without the owner seeing him.
"Woah! Looks like someone needs some new pants."
Dave spun around to see the guy stood at the door with a massive grin on his face.
"I guess this suit was a little tighter than I realised,' Dave said sheepishly.
"So was the shirt," the guy chuckled.
Dave looked down and his tie had twisted slightly to the side exposing his white shirt and a number of missing buttons that must have blown off when he bent down.
"I think I'd better head off," Dave said as he blushed at the state he found himself in.
The guy put a hand on his chest. "Maybe you could stay just a little longer."
Dave looked up at the guy and saw the hungry look in his eyes.
Maybe gaining a little weight wasn't such a bad thing after all.
