I mean I wouldn't assume that based on that the initial premise is that we've stumbled onto these recordings and we're watching someone in the past. But that's only implied from the premise of the initial "Lost" audio. I just assumed from this wording in the post that the 'candid content' was the listener's imagination drifting off while the person in the tapes is talking. But you know, only Todd knows for sure until we get more information, so it could be!

i love that this is titled lost because, like the show, it gave me more new questions than it gave me answers but i’m invested and my brain will obsessively theorize until the next episode. i appreciate audios like this that can make me sit in silent contemplation afterwards trying to figure it all out. 😌

This gave me major 1930/1940 detective radio program vibes, but with a modern doctor who'esq/timey-wimey twist and my nostalgic, nerdy heart absolutely adored it ☺️💙💙
