VERTIGO - This would be a kickass super power
🕑 Added 2018-06-27 10:30:56 +0000 UTC ...if I were inflicting it on my enemies instead of experiencing it myself! For those of you (like me) who have never experienced this somewhat common anomaly, let me just tell you now - Vertigo is no joke.So after recovering from being sick at the beginning of June, I was finally getting back on schedule and caught up on my projects, Patreon recordings etc. Then I woke up on Saturday morning and I could barely get out of bed. Everything was violently spinning in this reverse corkscrew tailspin, and all I could do was grip whatever I was close to and shut my eyes, and try not to throw up. (Sexy, huh?)
This lasted for like 5 hours... I was stumbling around like someone out of a drunk meme most of the day, I fell down 2 or 3 times, and Daddy pretty much had to walk right next to me and keep me upright wherever I went. 5 hours of that and I was exhausted and just wanted it all to stop, so I went to sleep on the couch for a few hours, and when I woke up it was mostly gone, unless I moved suddenly. Since then I've only had the really bad spiralling dizziness when I lay down at night, or roll over from one side to the other, or turn my head far to the right. So I knew it had to be some sort of inner ear thing. But I get tiny flashes of it now and then during the day, and my head has been throbbing with pressure the past 3 days and I just feel exhausted, probably from not sleeping well and the added stress of feeling like you're falling off the Empire State every time it happens.
Went to the doctor today and she gave me some exercises to do to try and get the floating crystals in my ear to work back to the place they should be, and it's supposedly like 90% effective, so crossing fingers this will be over in a day or two. But I wanted to let you everyone know that if I'm quiet for a few more days that'll be why. My eyes are bothering me quite a bit as well so not spending much time at the computer like usual.
I have the Courtesan episode recorded and editing is about 1/2 complete, so with any luck it will be out on Friday sometime as scheduled. I'd like to release one more recording for this month for all my Buffet members as well, and there are still a few days, so crossing my fingers on that.
But it means I'm probably not going to get to any private commissions until next month. I was just too too busy catching up from being sick and I'm happy with what I did accomplish this month!
Also, I have a really big animation project next month which is going to require a huge chunk of my time, and I don't know yet when it will be ready for me to start recording, it's taking him about 6 weeks to render the whole thing because it's massive (no, really - it is!). The creator is on Patreon but I'd rather not discuss it here because of the subject matter, it's very extreme and won't be to everyone's tastes. However in this genre he is King, and this is a Part 2 video to the one I starred in last year if that gives you any clues.
I'll be sure to post an announcement on my Tumblr and my Subreddit when it's released. Please don't ask about it in the comments, as I said I'd like to keep it off my page, but you're welcome to ask me on Discord or elsewhere privately. I'm sure some of you already know what it is, not many movies that size are coming down the pike.

Thanks for all the support everyone, appreciate your taking the time to read and comment. It's really good to know that I'm not the only one who's had to deal with this before! Crossing fingers, but I think the first treatment worked. I laid down last night for the first time since my visit to the doctor, and the severe spinning I was having didn't happen for the first time this week! So we'll see how it goes tonight, but I'm hopeful that it's resolved.

i had something like that happen twice to me, sitting at my comp i got very dizzy and just fell over from sitting upright, wasn't tired or anything and just suddening fell out of my chair as the world around me seemed to do a sharp turn without me.
