11/26 Update/Drama

In the meantime, here's what I have to deal with.
This user named urara leaked some of the content on this patreon from September - october to r/modpiracy2 on reddit. I removed the files and replaced them with new links as I found out, later I made a statement calling out this person but decided to ultimately just delete it because it was written in a moment of rage and this wasn't worth my attention. I have more important things to do.
This morning I woke up to this message:
Let me break this down. This person is saying first, he is sharing my work, and he's curious how can I be this mad if I 'don't care about the money'.
Second, he's justifying his own actions by saying 'I'm stealing assets from another game and putting SMP on it. This is not work, only conversion and SMP.'
Lastly, he said he's removing what he shared on r/modpiracy2 and telling me I'm lying to myself if I don't care about the money and it's wrong to steal and paywall it.
Now first, let me make this clear: I am not ‘paywalling’ my BDOR pack. From the moment I released the beta version on my patreon, I have stated very clearly it will be public as soon as I am finished with the mod. [ Link here ]
As a matter of fact, I am about 99% done and it is less than 8 hours of working on it to release it. It’s why I haven’t posted much since Nov.14. That alone should give you an idea of how much work I am putting into this project.
For this person to outright dismiss it as ‘not work’, ‘only stealing assets and putting SMP on it’. Is pardon my french, fucking ludicrous. I have worked on this project tirelessly since august, pushing out content nonstop on this patreon page, all the while having a day job that I need to attend to. I have put hundreds, if not more than a thousand hour of effort into this patreon and this project, but this person refuses to acknowledge this is anything even close to something worth respecting. I know how much work I have put into it, I know how many times I thought about just abandoning it altogether and I can spend more time on taking care of myself. I didn’t, because there’s a passion for me to make this into reality, and another factor that I will make clear in the next paragraph.
The second factor is - money. Yes, I do make money on this patreon. Everybody makes money. Is anyone living in this world currently that doesn't care, doesn’t need, or doesn't use money? Not even billionaires will say that. And certainly not this person. This person is so obsessed with the $10 paywall on this patreon, that he has hunted my mods on r/modpiracy2 for a month now. [ Link to his reddit profile ] If HE didn’t care about money, why would he be so hung up on getting this for free instead of becoming a patron like the rest of the 150 people that subscribed here? Can I remind you that this is $10? Am I asking for $500 to have access to feet pics? Is this an unethical, scummy, predatory business practice that we’re doing here on this page?
What this patreon is, is a fucking miracle. This is a page that got 150 patrons in 4 months of running, this is a page that I pushed an insane amount of content out that most creators wouldn’t have reached in a fucking year. This is where I dedicated almost all of my freetime to, I’m killing myself to make this happen, all the while making content for a very small minority group in gaming.
What do you think this is? If this isn’t the result of hard labour in its purest form, what is? How do you justify demeaning and disregarding everything I have done with a simple ‘you’re stealing and your work is worthless’?
I have to be honest - I am completely burned out and I have no intention to work on this further. I find myself almost unable to work purely out of how miserable I am - I just want to play the game, not whatever the fuck this is. This patreon got started in July, where I told myself I’m gonna make some content, it’ll be fun for everybody, and I’m not gonna take it seriously, then was stunned by the insane amount of support from the community and decided to keep going. The only thing pushing me to finish this project at this point is to not disappoint the people that HAVE subscribed, the people that HAVE left a message encouraging me, the people that DO care about and love what I’m doing.
And that does not include you, urara. You are worthless, you are a piece of scum and you should be ashamed of yourself. You make me feel disgusted just by acknowledging you exist. You make me wanna delete everything just for the sake of denying you access to what I make.
And that is not motivated by money, you have my fucking word on that - that is me, as a person, telling you like it is. Fuck off.

I'm sorry you had to deal with this shit, sadly that's the way of things, people will always try and get past that paywall somehow, I know people who have never bought a single game in their life and if it's not pirateable they just dont play it which is sad AF. I truly do appreciate all the hard work you put into the armors, sadly I realised I cant use them regardless since they wont patch with requiem properly and I couldnt use them as replacements. But in any case if this makes you sad and miserable then dont continue, no one should do something only for the sake of others, we who pay appreciate you and what you have done here!

i dont get why he is not getting it. you made something, you post it somewhere, at least if i want to share, and there is no statement of sort, i will ask you. thats simple.. common sense in sharing and internet usage. [fact: even if i downloaded your work, i edit it, i should never share it with someone else (period) without your consent] what planet is he living? second: listen, a burn out is a burn out, if you think you want to get a break, do it, i know alot of patreon creators does that, they cancel one month payment, cause they want to have a one month break. a complete 30 days of doing nothing. listen, dont justify yourself and stop worrying about him, relax and have a nice drink.
Don't worry about him anymore. We subbed cause we loved your work and it is worth it. Specially you're the only person I subbed to out of all the many modders out there. I really hope everything will go smoother now. Sorry if this has happened but we're always here for you dude. We'll always look forward for your future contents. You deserve all the subs!

100% Agree with you & your statement and all. I can't fathom why people like this do this sort've stuff. I know words don't mean much, but I'm terribly sorry you had to deal with that. Beyond apologies, I'd like to say thank you for working so hard. I can see your efforts on these mods as clear as day. You put in work and earn your part. You have a life too, and I couldn't imagine what all goes on behind the screen whilst working on these projects. Besides this imbecile of shit stain clouding up your energy. I hope that you're doing well otherwise. Again, I am sorry you've had to deal with that. But I hope the rest of today goes smoother and is just all mellow and calm for you.
