Thanks for the chapter! He definitely should of gone with option one. Sometimes you just need to acknowledge, you were wrong both for yourself and for others. Gonna be fun to see if he gets any better at this or if he keeps putting his foot in his mouth. I look forward to the next chapter!

TFTC!

Termac

Noa already knows Reiji saved her younger brother, though, so I don't see her favorability of Reiji rising from anything Riku does.

Based. Someone whose word can't be trusted is basically worthless.

Danielle Warvel

He made a promise so the only right answer is option one. Who cares what the rest of the school thinks. They might even respect him more if he goes through with it, especially if he did it with the right attitude. If he was shuddering and acting all disgusted and reluctant, sure people would never let him live it down in a bad way, but if he played it up and made it all into a big joke, essentially taking it with good humor, then he’d still never hear the end of it, but it would be because people would want to be included in the joke and be laughing with him rather than at him as long as he could keep acting like he found it funny too. It’s all about attitude and execution. Either indifference or machismo, I guess you could say, can both cover for a lot.

If Riku was smarter and a better person, I'd have said 3 would potentially be a good option. But the idiot would have a bad reaction to Reiji being the source of the improvement. Based off eliminating that answer, the first one would be the only correct answer. He would take a reputation hit with the school but it would show his true contrition and desire to atone for his prior behavior.

Bean Apothecary

Perhaps a situation involving the little lionheart that will lead to him recognizing riku as the student who left him to the dogs which will blow up in his face and lead to reiji's favorability with the president going even higher.

SomeRandomGuy

Hah, to get the stat changes he would need to actually complete a quest, which, by his track record, I seriously doubt he would be able to do in a timely manner That isn't even including the pending huge favorability drop when the President's brother identifies him as the one who ran away

dragon

I can't wait for Riku to be so busy trying to find the optimal solution to the problem that Reiji just walks in and solves it first.

Kaywye

The obvious answer to your question is a disagreement with the VP...but that might be a red herring. Whatever it is, I'm here for it!

Lee

Maybe an issue with the complaint against Reiji’s teacher’s bias with test?

AHPMoogle

Dude is fantasizing about unknown rewards when he should instead be worried about the unknown punishment...

Jerkface

The vice president gives me major creep vibes so I’m guessing he’s going to do something pretty despicable. Once riku gets some stat changes it will be interesting to see how that changes how he interacts with the world/ vice versa.

Ben

A situation caused by the slimeball vice president I assume
