[Warmup] Resplendent Lucina π¦
🕑 Added 2020-11-12 05:00:05 +0000 UTCokay hear me out, this was originally my warmup today but I liked it so much I ended up putting a little more time into it than I had initially planned. But since I'm kinda off the hook for the current 1-3 days due to the current circumstances that I mentioned on discord so I thought it wouldn't hurt to work on a spontanous personal project until the pain is gone :) also I don't really feel comfortable working on serious work art that I want to look really good while I'm in pain π
I'm personally very happy with the picture! I really like her FEH resplendent design , just not really happy with the official art for it because for some reason they turned her into a loli ?? For those of you that aren't familiar with the source material, Lucina is ~18 years old so she's not a loli at all, she's pretty much an adult so it's a weird design choice in my eyes. But you know, thankfully I can just draw her looking her actual age π

yeah but she wasn't meant to be that kind of child unit, which makes it kinda eh for me, I prefer her looking the way she does in awakening, which is like an adult :v

Forgot to mention this when you first posted this, but I love the way you draw the glow of the butterflies, and how the light shines on her hair... it's really what makes this pic, for me.
