She just created it in her palm and with quickness so high they couldn't spot her palming it over to Lezekus.

Tjark

So since Sarith instantly recognized the symbol despite minimal exposure, the other students that were pestering Lezekus endlessly and even spent hours in the library to find out which Deity she's a priest of, it's likely the other students will recognize it as well as soon as they see that 'gossip'. Although, they will likely come to the conclusion that Amdirlain shares the same faith as Livia and the celestials and taught Lezekus about the deity of the celestials at some point. She's probably just not a priest and therefore doesn't carry around the symbol openly. At least that's what I would assume.

That makes a lot more sense, now that I think about it. I would think watching Amdirlain form the symbol out of thin air and hand it to Lezekus would be something of a giveaway as to who the power was. Edit: So presumably, no one spotted that. Since it hasn't come up.

Thanks! And ufff, I was really wondering how could I forget something like lion-headed people with blade-arms haha.

Glenn Wright

When she came by to apologies to Gemiya she was chatting to Lezekus, and that was when I time placing her spotting it.

Livia is so great. She just makes everything better. And wow, there is so much to unpack here! ______________ >>>It wasn’t until the outer door to the training hall that Sarith slowed and had to force herself to push each open. When the only thing leaking from beneath the inner door was a golden light, she gave a deep sigh and briskly pushed it open. ______________ Poor Sarith. This is definitely a trauma she did not need to have. Amdirlain's impact on her life has mostly been of her own making, but this part not so much. ______________ >>>“A long story, but she rescued me, and I adopted her,” Livia replied, and offered a cheeky smile. “She said I must have been a cat in a past life but that’s not the case.” ______________ Livia has to be one of the few people alive who could state this so definitively. I can just picture Amdirlain pouting when she refused to cooperate. ______________ >>>“Eb kept insisting I should leave her to heal,” Livia replied, her smile still firmly in place. “Mother pulls in on herself at times, so I wanted to be absolutely certain she was alright. So I said if she didn’t help me, I’d travel Limbo by myself and she could let mother know why if I didn’t make it.” ______________ This made me laugh so hard. I love to imagine the argument they must have had: Livia: You may be her adopted big sister, but I was her adopted daughter first. I have seniority. Ebusuku: I'll tell you what I've told literal deities: No visitors! And for the last time: no exceptions! Livia: Sure thing, Aunty Eb. I'll just let *you* tell mom why I disappeared in Limbo then. Ebusuku: ...You dirty cheat. ____________ >>>“I wanted to make sure you weren’t an imposter here with ill intentions,” countered Cyrus unflustered by her tone. Livia raised a single eyebrow in the same deliberate fashion that Amdirlain used and the firmness of her gaze lent her expression a cynical edge. “That’s nice, but that likely took an instant to determine and yet you left your third eye open. My mother said never to let a bully push me around. Are you a bully, Master Cyrus?” ____________ Calling Cyrus out on his Third Eye Voyeurism, has to make me wonder how frequently he uses this technique, since it seems like the kind of thing most people can't tell is happening. I don't think Cyrus is really a bully, but he's definitely letting his curiosity make him pretty pushy here. ___________ >>>That every one of them had their clothing marked by the same symbol as upon Lezekus’ medallion of faith was the most striking aspect of all. Though Sarith had only seen the medallion once its strange design had stuck with her. Seeing the design on the Celestial’s clothing was disconcerting but she kept their relationship to Lezekus’ deity to herself. ____________ The only time I can think of that Sarith might have spotted the holy symbol was back in the courtyard when Amdirlain gave it to Lezekus. With every emotion but rage literally seared out of her at the time, it's kind of fascinating to learn that Sarith was watching so closely at the time. And I have to say, out of all the people I thought might figure out that Amdirlain is Lezekus deity, I did not expect Sarith to be one of them. I wonder what she'll do/think of it once she figures it out. ___________ Altogether, thanks for the great chapter! I feel like we've had a really good run of chapters lately, so thanks for all your hard work!

The domain has a far larger population now, including some Angels that started at their various base types. The lion headed figures are Sword Archons, and that was their first appearance..

Silerus

The Planetar that escorted Livia, was that Torm, or did someone evolve? If someone did, then it's probably Sage. Also, who are the "lion-headed Angelic figures"? I feel like I should remember this, alas, my memory fails me here.

Kale Daley

Yay! I've been wondering how Livia was doing since we left her group after that odd encounter. Glad to see she's well. Hopefully we get to see the meeting from an inside perspective.
