Socks is a gift that may feel like nothing in the moment, but I know that my fifty year old dad wears sock with holes ALL the time sooo... socks are definitely a solid gift (if you can find fun socks with their sports teams to make it more personal, do it!) I also second any other applicable sports merchandise and definitely an electric shaver. A water flosser is a nice hygiene gift as well.

I'm enjoying the advent calendar very much. I liked the biting sounds with the Tascam vid. I really like this green vid though. :P My new years resolutions include house shopping and going out more so I can potentially find a wife. On the topic of gifts...sometimes the greatest gift is your time. One year I planned a camping trip with my dad for Christmas. He enjoyed the fact that I wanted to spend time with him. 21:15 I got all my friends headlamps this year. I figure you can never have enough lights. :P

oh! about your brother & dad, you can get them sports-themed stuff & they'd probably like that! just find out which sports & teams they like, then find stuff with the team on it for them, like a coffee mug if they drink coffee/tea, or t-shirts, basically anything man-related with the sports logo should work. you can also go with cologne, or a good electric shaver. :D

Boy/man in my 30s here! I have hobbies beyond sports, but I also love sports and would think that a Christmas present of any sort of merch/clothing/things to hang on the wall of my favorite sports teams would be awesome. I specifically received a light up Minnesota Timberwolves wall clock one year and loved it. Also if your dad is a golfer, golf people always love anything to do with that.
