this post offers you a collection of news about the next version of Holiday Island (0.3.8.0).

The change log below is based on the release 0.3.7.0.
As of right now, the update from 0.3.7.0 to 0.3.8.0 has:

New features, major improvements and new content
- Brenda gets a new poker appointment that will replace her existing one --> will be part of 0.3.8.0
- Ivy's workout pullups scene will be remade with four achievements and using her new model --> will be part of 0.3.8.0
- All girls that were still missing them get high res sprites for everything --> will be part of 0.3.8.0
- Faye's and Aly's breats compare event at the beach gets rerendered in 2560x1440 and some new images are added --> will be part of 0.3.8.0
- Ivy's workout pecs training scene will be remade using her new model --> will be part of 0.3.8.0
- Delizia gets a poker reward scene --> will be part of 0.3.8.0
- Delizia gets a much improved poker appointment with additional renders --> will be part of 0.3.8.0

- Eva's reward appointment where she's wearing a black dress gets an AI image upgrade to 2560x1440 webp format and a text revison --> will be part of 0.3.8.0
- Eva's poker lapdance scene gets an AI image upgrade to 2560x1440 webp format and a text revison --> will be part of 0.3.8.0

- The Ren'Py engine will be upgraded from 7.4.4 (which was unfrotunately a buggy release) to the current 7.5.3. Hopefully this solves more problems and doesn't create new ones. --> will be removed from 0.3.8 due to too many problems
So the Ren'Py version will stay 7.4.4 for now. - All dream images have been AI upscaled to twice the fomer resolution and the image format has been changed to webp --> will be part of 0.3.8.0
- Joy's poker images have been rerendered and post worked again in 2560x1440 resolution --> will be part of 0.3.8.0
- Jennifers appointment where she's wearing the net stockings has been rendererd again in 2560x1440 and some more imags have been added --> will be part of 0.3.8.0
- All posing images have been upgraded to at least 2560x1440 resolution --> will be part of 0.3.8.0
- The .rpyc file have been reorganized helping with faster development and making it easier to find stuff in the future. --> will be part of 0.3.8.0
- A couple of new phone backgrounds, phone character pictures and sextings for different girls have been added --> will be part of 0.3.8.0
- A couple of new love, friendship and sexual messages have been added --> will be part of 0.3.8.0
- Some basic location and event renders have been AI upgraded to 2560x1440 webp format --> will be part of 0.3.8.0
- Amy gets new pool jump in and pool exit renders in 2560x1440 resolution --> will be part of 0.3.8.0
Bug fixes
- The poker interface did only support a maximum number of 6 items to undress, although 7 were needed --> will be fixed with 0.3.8.0
- The poker interface had lost all the mouse hover quick texts --> will be fixed with 0.3.8.0
- Wrong image links in some achievements resulting in the display of one or more black images --> will be fixed with 0.3.8.0
- The icon to add images to your favoriteshas disappeared --> will be fixed with 0.3.8.0
- Heather's sun lotion event could trigger even though she wasn't wearing her skimpy bikini --> will be fixed with 0.3.8.0

I have added the option to trade in 5 blue pills for 100 company favor. So 100 company favor each. Same amount as you can get when trading in 3 "sperm(eh) vial".

Let me report two things that have bugged me for a while. 1. I have hundreds of useless blue pills I can open a pharmacy with. I know I can trade them for other pills, but I have loads of them too by now. 2. The capacity to earn HI credit is somewhat lacking. Scenes requiring a girl to be sent off and recalled (like there are for Brenda and Faye in the current release) cost 150 credits apiece. That is a week's worth of wanking for each scene. If you are lucky you can get some extra credit by playing poker with Joy, but that is about it. It is almost impossible to rotate 2 girls in one week for credit reasons. That leaves cheating, but I dislike that with a vengeance. The logical solution to above 2 items would be to be able to sell blue pills for credit.

Good evening Lord Darkhound! I'm enjoying the game again and I came across a question I hope you can answer. I was going through the list of quests and noticed that in order to continue Miriam's mystery breast expansion quest, I needed to finish Mercedes' strength quest, which I completed quite a while ago. What do I need to do now to begin Miriam's quest? I'd gratefully accept any help on this one if possible. Thank you in advance!

The Ren'Py engine is regularly updated. Like most other software. Unfortunately very often you get one bug fixed and get 5 new ones in exchange. I can't tell you if the new one will work better for you or not.

Interesting about the Ren'Py engine needing an upgrade. Maybe (I hope) it will be just what I need to prevent the problems I'm still having with continuous playing. I still have to save at least every 10 game hours so I can continue after I get stuck and have to start playing again.

Not sure I get what you mean concerning Lacey's renders. What render are you referring to specifically? About the guys tool - If the whole scene is redone, his renders will be remade as well.

Hi. When you are improving some renders, please check Lacey's renders. Sometimes it looks like she has a dick under panties. And hero's cock looks like emh.. not real. It would be nice to make it more natural, of course when you'll have more time for it. Thanks for the game. You done a lot of work.

There are 2044 jpg images left. Way too many for one release. I will try to get there eventually though. A lot of them are really bad and old. No way to simply AI upscale them. Rendering about 30 images again takes me a full day. So it will take several releases to get rid of all of them. Unfortunately a large number of the very bad ones are with the high tier girls. The top girls have the oldest content. jpg images by girl: 263 Yvette, 223 Heather, 193 Amy, 183 Eva. And btw, I switched the version to 0.3.8. The version change is not content related, but mainly related to the way of distribution. It will be a new full release. I have changed images all over the place and creating an update pakage would be a mess.

One minor issue. The QM menu in the lower left is covered up by a chair in the dinning area and by the desk in the lobby.

Not really sure I get what you mean. Amy will still masturbate by herself and lust gets reduced. Once the horny sex triggers, there is a cool down of 2 days. You can say "No" without any real consequences. She only gets a little angry, but stays at the bar.

Is it intended that Amy never loses it when she gets horny in the bar until sex happens? That in effect makes her inaccessible for anything else in the bar.

I found a couple glitches in the latest version. 1.) Lost Amy's gifted sting bikini cannot find in either the game or the companion, need to finish Amy's beach episode. 2.) MC has lost his penis when having sex with Joy during meeting for Sara's cabin fever. Keep up the great work, it's a great game

You probably have a corrupt frame setting. Do not enter your player room and delete all frame images using the app. After that everything should work again.

Not sure I understand what you mean. This is already implemented. You can see the requirements on each achievement and also on the scene preview text when you hover the mouse over an action icon.

If I can make a suggestion for the next update, could you include a system to display the hearts (desire, affection, stats) needed to unlock certain scenes? It is difficult to know whether we have the necessary hearts or not when they are not directly displayed in the stats.
