At the same time, with setting up all these Pokémon to evolve I felt it was a shame not to show them all battling the Elite Four. Also I knew I wanted to fit Aleicia's motivation in somewhere, and this was the perfect place to set up Aika.
Next week: Aleicia vs Aika!
P.S. I know a lot of people have made the Roar of Time joke, I couldn't resist here.

It would. I'm not sure how long/large the game would have to be to accommodate a large post-game experience but something like the gen 2 remakes that use more than one region would potentially allow for it.

Next week should be fun. It's also a bit of a shame that there hasn't been any pokemon game that I am aware of where in the post-game the player has to defend the title. Probably due to most players using the Elite 4 for post-game grinding.
