Racing AI and Fixes for the BeamNG 0.31 Version
1) Random Vehicle Selector: Improved seeding for the random vehicle selector.
2) Levels Prefabs: Updated spawn to accept .prefab.json files.

3) Arena and Track Start Positions: Introduced a new method for adding start positions for arenas and tracks.

4) VehicleData Error Fix: Resolved an error when vehicle data was not being returned.
5) Code Update for BeamNG 0.31: Updated the code call to readJsonFile to align with BeamNG update 0.31.
6) Motorsports Playground Presets: Added presets for Large Oval Race, Small Oval Race, Big Banker Race, Arena 1, and Arena 2.
7) Added A1 Gaming Mod Support: A1 Gaming Configs and Vehicles added. Have not added roofsigns,door numbers, or roofsticks. This will come in a future update.

- Fixed missing menu images.
- Fixed the parts UI menu option not functioning.
- Addressed an issue with parts attempting to load duplicates.
- Adjusted the layout of the opponents menu to prevent text overlap for driver numbers.
10) Racing AI Enhancements:
Picture of racing path (white), middle of track(red) and minimum curvature path(yellow)
- Introduced a raceline generator based on minimum curvature.
- Added AI side avoidance for side-by-side racing.
- Adjusted AI aggressiveness for more competitive racing.
- Implemented outside race track boundary avoidance force.

This is a secondary download for the track packs.
1) Download the file listed here and then run the installer.
2) Choose Allow or Keep for any popup messages for windows defender or your virus scanner.
3) Double check that the installation folder is in the BeamNG.drive mods folder.
DO NOT INSTALL IN ANOTHER LOCATION.
Then click Install and agree to the license.
4) The installer will register the mod on your computer.
5) Once the install has finished startup BeamNG
6) Start BeamNG.drive
7) In Scenarios or Freeroam find The FairGrounds Mod

Troubleshooting
1) When starting the scenario you only get screen showing the black background with press esc to load the menu.
a) Check for old "green_derby.zip" or "demo_green_derby.zip" files in your mods folder and delete them. Also make sure you don't have "green_derby_1.zip" or other copies of the files in the mods or repo folder.
b) Clear cache
c) Deactivate all other mods in the menu.
2) AI is not moving
This can caused by a conflicting mod. Deactivate all mods and try again. Check the logs by press ~ or check the BeamNG.log files.

ill try redownloading it again but, ever since the patch recently this just plays the opening video and stays black screen and have to go menu or exit

Yes actually runs pretty good, the rdp files work as well I just can’t figure out how to get fairgrounds to work
Does BeamNG even work on steam deck?
Is any of this different for the steam deck? I’ve been trying to get it to work along with RDP for like the past week and I’m having issues getting everything working

It might be hard to do but I think that there should be some sort of team system so that you can have x amount of teams with the AI.

Did you figure this out? I'm not seeing the motorsports maps either.
The link that works to the Green tracks is missing motorsports entirely.

Delete the installer file and redownload it. You have an old update.
Download the zip file directly from the end of the post and replace the green_derby zip file in the mods folder with it. I've never managed to get the installer to work properly and always downloaded the file directly, never had an issue getting that working.
I have new windows update it won’t open the installer it keeps saying I need an app that doesn’t exist I have tried all of the links

mine says "The fairgrounds 10.9.2 setup ended prematurely beacuse of and error. your system has not been modified to install new program at a later time please run the installation click the finish buttom to exit setup wizard" what is wrong?
That might be your windows blocking the install. Are you an administrator?

my derby mod isnt working i assume because its version 10.9.2 but im not fully sure what to do to get the newst version of the mod. do i delete the old installer becasue it times out when i repair and nothing pops up for modifacations
