Valda's Illustrious Guestbook
🕑 Added 2022-02-01 13:44:58 +0000 UTCI bring you the final stretch goal for our Valda’s Spire of Secrets campaign: a collection of ready-to-play NPCs called Valda’s Illustrious Guestbook. The Kickstarter backers will get this tomorrow -- you’re my guinea pigs.
In other Valda’s news: we’ve got the 1.1 version completed and we’ll be sending the PDF to Kickstarter backers AND select patrons tomorrow as well. To qualify, you must be at the Producer Tier and have a lifetime pledge amount of $60 or greater.
February is going to be a weird month, so it’s not clear how much work I’m going to knock out. We’re prepping to release a card game, putting the finishing touches on Valda’s for manufacturing, and continuing work on Extinction. Whenever I have an opening, however, I’m going to start the process of updating the Complete books with content from Valda’s (plus new content in many places!) Stay tuned.

I've been working my ass off on that. I don't want to promise it'll be done in February, but I'm making swift progress. It's a much larger campaign than I originally thought it might be!

I know it’s a separate Kickstarter but will we be seeing One Hundred to Oni in the near future?

This is awesome! The Hoard Golem in particular really speaks to Valda's sadism (what kind of cruel monster would steal your magic items before you've died??). The only odd thing I noticed was that the "Lair Actions" subtitle appears on page 24 while the lair actions themselves are detailed at the bottom of page 25. It looks perfectly fine in 2 page view, but is a bit odd when in 1 page view. Not the end of the world, it's not hard to put the pieces together, but just thought I'd mention it.
