I had to listen to this twice to answer the question. The first listen, the depth was intense enough that it made the feeling and memory blend together in that way that relative distinction becomes next to impossible. "Are negative numbers the best deepeners?" I'm pretty sure you can take me just as deeply, in lots of different ways, but they are much better than countdowns that involve positive numbers. And since they stretch to negative infinity, I always get that feeling of sinking deeper even if it becomes impossible for me to distinguish if I actually am deeper or what that means for me at the time.
