Kinesthetic inductions tend to take me less deep than fixation inductions and conversational inductions. Kinesthetic inductions work, and they work well, but they just don't hit those greater depths for me the way fixation and conversational inductions can. Overload inductions usually have similar depth as kinesthetic inductions for me, but I think that is largely because the overload often follows the pattern of building up and then releasing the subject into trance. After the release, there isn't much in the overload itself to propagate that sinking into trance. Progressive relaxation is a little bit all over the place, it very much depends on how it is done. If the progressive relaxation induction is done really well, it can take me as deep as anything else, but if I feel like the pacing is significantly off, that can hurt my own depth as part of my mind is critiquing the induction. Confusion inductions usually leave me in a depth somewhere between kinesthetic inductions and other types of conversational inductions because I often don't end up all that confused and I respond instead to the other deepeners. That said, when confusion inductions successfully achieve confusion they are just as effective as other really good conversational inductions.
