Actually it's also largely just trying to make sure I get this arc done, which was meant to be done with this chapter but will instead be handled with the next one since I had to split it in half too.
I think the biggest lesson learned here though is to just get out 10k or so chapters instead of the 20-30k ones I always wind up doing for ACoT or such. Being able to turn chapters over relatively quickly is a great feeling.

I've been pretty sick the last few weeks, but I'm mostly recovered now, so hopefully I'll have another chapter done soon, and then I'll get back to the FE story I keep saying I'll finish that's 80% done.

I thin so, I really enjoyed the Light Novels, particularly after Volume 6 (War Game arc). They start good, but just get better and better as the series finds its stride. The current anime’s volumes, 12-14 are the best in the entire franchise Imo. I’ve enjoyed the anime, but mostly as a companion to the novels.
