As usual I was like "Yea I'm gonna do something simple" but then so many ideas came to mind and in my head the pose worked so well but... it just doesn't translate on paper. It's not a bad drawing but it's also not what I had in mind
I kept gaslighting myself into trusting the process but I still hate it today which is a bad sign, lol. I am gonna keep going because I have no time to start from scratch and hopefully the final result will be not TOO horrible T_T
I know I sound like I'm being very harsh on myself but I need to recognise these feelings about my art or I'll go insane LMAO.
I hope you at least enjoy it!

Nothing wrong with venting! It's not always gonna go according to plan. For what it's worth, I think it looks super cute so far. But listen to your gut.

That feeling sucks, when something fun becomes a struggle. And every step feels like you're sinking deeper. Getting further away from where you wanted to be. Still i think she looks good though. Even if it's not what you were aiming for.

Art is always subjective & a learning curve. I think the pose and outfit are cute, if this is not working for you, it is okay to start again. If choosing not to start again, see what minor changes might be possible to make this feel more comfortable for you overall. Bashing your head against the wall is not always good/ideal.
