Dev Plans (June 1st - August 1st)

This is the first dev plan for the new bi-monthly schedule! As you may have noticed, the current issue with the monthly schedule is that I end up releasing a lot of content that is unfinished and partial.
While that is normal in most cases, the main thing is that I want to be able to implement content in entire complete chunks. For example, dungeon 2 took approximately 1.75 months worth of work to complete; however, due to releasing it monthly I released it half finished essentially.
The same thing occurred for this new side-quest, which has taken quite awhile to set up to be honest... The art demands for character art and map sprites were quite high for this side quest.
The good news is, that with the new schedule that problem should be eliminated!
Now, even though I'm switching to a bi-monthly release schedule, the same amount of art will still be getting commissioned! The goal still is to spend $2k every month on art.
I hope you all are looking forward to seeing the future content, because I'm looking forward to implementing it!
Now then, these next two months I'll be implementing some stuff I've been looking forward to for awhile now!
1. Implementing the New Side-Character: Lexi
The new side-character is a bombshell diva with a big ego. She's more than willing to step on anyone that gets in her way... In fact, she's eager to do so. She loves being in positions of power and loves fashion even more.
These next two months will see the implementation of her character into the game. Her gameplay is some of the most unique I think the game will have to offer. I think a lot of you will enjoy what's coming next with her content.
2. Guidance Bear UI Part 2
In case some of you missed it, Guidance Bear had an upgrade this last patch! He's now more accurate than ever... 95% of the time!
Guidance Bear was fun for me to implement, and I'm going to spend some time this month finishing him up. I need to add Android Compatibility (Touch Screen) and add the Secrets menu option.
3. Finishing up the Side-Quest
Neith's side-quest has come to an end... For one route at least. I'll be spending some time this month finishing up her content. Hopefully you guys enjoyed her reign of terror! There's more to come soon!
Once I finish up her second route I'll be doing another release. Expect that around 5-7 days from now.
4. Implementing Backers Choice
As always I'll be implementing backer's choice!
You guys are keeping me on the edge of my seat with this one. I can't tell if Sapphire is going to win a 3rd time in a row or if Victoria will steal her spot light for her next exhibitionist adventure! Whichever it is I'll be implementing them so look forward to that!
(By the way, since we're on a bi-monthly schedule now the chosen character will get 2 events instead of 1.)
Combat System re-work coming to a game near you soon! (Hopefully after this next release...)

Characters will remain on the poll yep. The poll basically acts as a way for me to implement content for the character people want the most so when I'm focusing on other stuff for awhile I can implement some events for them on the side.

Looking forward to it, because the way her powers work and dialogue pertaining to them implies she’s able to do stuff like grow a penis. Unless I read things wrong. Feel free to correct me if I’m wrong.

So if Sapphire keeps on winning, why not just call this City of Sapphire? Jokes aside, will characters stay indefinitely on the polls or will they take breaks when they have too many scenes? I'd feel pretty bummed if one character has like 7 extra scenes compared to everyone else.

Yeppers, in the future there will be some more stuff, but it's not really a priority at the moment. Trying to get some other kinks into the game first.

Since it’s so close to a tie and there’s 2 months, why not just make 1 event for Victoria and 1 event for Sapphire? Might make more people happy, and might satisfy some people so the other two characters have a chance.
