Dev Plans (December 1st - February 1st)

With this last release we saw the completion of Dungeon 3 (goodbye Megara) and an updated Gallery. With this players can now view most of the lewd scenes in the game. The last release also included a decent amount of side events and introduced more of Kailee and her abilities.
Unfortunately, there were two things that didn't make this release. The Combat Rework and the new Side-Quest.
First off, the combat rework. When getting started on this I spent some time and recognized that I probably wasn't the best person to implement a more complex and experienced system. So, I hired someone more experienced with creating combat systems to do it in my stead. But since I was no longer doing the rework myself I had more free time to devote to other tasks; thus, I had a dev-poll where backers voted on the main 3 things they wanted. They voted on:

So, that's why those got included! But anyways, I think the combat rework should be fully in the game next release for players to enjoy. I think it'll be a large improvement from today's current system.
Second off, the side-quest. To be honest, I included the side-quest in the dev plans to try and push myself into delivering more, but I over-estimated myself a bit. Apologies for not including that in the last release as well.
On the art side of things we made a lot of progress with CG's, almost closing out Dungeon 2 entirely. We also saw a lot of portraits and loops get added. (My personal favorite portrait being Nico's.)
With all that being said, let's move onto this next release!
1. Main Story Implementation: Dungeon 4 Introduction
With the completion of Dungeon 3 we'll be moving onto Dungeon 4 and meeting our next Antagonist, the tallest character in the game as well as the most capable enemy Emma will have to face so far! She has a tendency to distort her enemies fully to her will, which may or may not have permanent side-effects...
This release I'll be working on the introduction to Dungeon 4 as well as the 1st Floor. This dungeon includes Nico as a side-character so it will be a bit more, but I think his inclusion will be a nice addition.
2. Side Quest: Movie Magic
Supposed to be included last release, the next addition will be this Side-Quest. Since I talked about this in the last dev plan I won't waste time talking about it again. Backers in the dev polls decided they wanted Elvira back so she'll be making her unfortunate appearance here.
I'm sure players will do their best to stop anything from happening to her... Surely she's been through enough already.
3. Intro Skip (QoL)
I'll be attempting to implement an Intro skip for people who are replaying or just don't want to go through the introduction before Dungeon 1. Not too much to elaborate on with this, but I'm hoping to add this to the next release.
4. Implementing Backers Choice
As always I'll be implementing the backers choice. This time the 2 highest voted characters will get events instead of just 1.
At the moment it seems like Victoria and Aurora/Sapphire will win, but who knows! On the other hand, it seems Kailee's introduction wasn't well received as she sits at a measly 6%, with Olivia not too far above her at only 11%.
But regardless, who knows what will happen in the next 4 days!
Anyways with all this said and done I'm thinking after this release I'll take a break from the main story content and focus on flushing out the world and game mechanics. I want to introduce more items, more side-content, and a fuller gameplay experience that enhances the basic day-time system, as well as give the player various options that are enjoyable to utilize.
This will be the perfect time to do this, as with the release of Dungeon 4, the next expansion to the city will be underway, introducing us to a massive new area, the Red-Light District.

It just gives a variation ending. I guess there's no real consequence other than Laura getting possessed.

For the haunted house side quest (Laura), will there be any consequence for sleeping on the couch without finding the three bags? Right now, the male ghost just kind of fizzles out and Victoria model pops up on top of the player model even if you have never encountered her yet.

The Main themes are a mix of Corruption, Possession, and Transformation. A lot of possession content is more upfront, but the last 3 planned dungeons focus a lot more on the corruption and transformation aspects. Futa transformation was mainly Dungeon 1. Each Dungeon has a theme introduced in it so that's why it's primarily prominent in that area. Emma will not make her own domain. Though what happens in the future with Eva's powers is a spoiler. Looking forward to unraveling more of the Main Story as we get further in!

More of a general question; is the main theme of this game going to be possession? Or has that just so happened to be the focus of the game so far? Victoria, Saphire, and Lexi are all possession direct or adjacent (skinsuit). Futa hasn't really been a thing, despite it being the focus of the first domain. And most of the other transformations seems to be happening to the characters in the school, but not really to Emma herself. Though I imagine it will eventually reach her? Also, are their plans for Emma to use Eva's powers in a similar to all the "villans" I kind of felt like that was about to be a possibility at Laura's house, but then nothing really came of it. I understand this game is still very early in development, so many of my questions haven't really had time to be explored, but I'm just trying to get an idea of what you're wanting to do and where you're wanting to go with the game.

Honestly, I was kinda hoping for the Soul fragment lady (Can't remember her name off the top of my head) to have just a tiny bit more impact, but I'm still loving the game! Adding permanent effects to your character that impacts how certain things work seems fun! Also, I like Kailee!

How many times did Sapphire win so far. It feels like everytime I come back it's always her that's winning (I assume that's why now it's the first two that win to get more variety?)
