The line is "when I left you I was but the learner. Now I am the master" When I LEFT you not when we last fought. He is referring to when he left the jedi order

yeah that line definitely doesnt hit the same, still id rather see them fight again and contradict one line than just not fight in the show

Not gonna lie, kinda disappointed that Kenobi and Vader actually fought. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy getting some Vader action, but I thought it undermined the enhancements that the prequels gave to A New Hope's scene 38. "Now I am the master" doesn't hit as hard seeing Vader literally torture Obi Wan 10 years prior, but idk maybe that's just me

Unreal episode really hoping it keeps up this pace 🙏 also quick thing I like to think he picked up how to fix Leias droid from Anikin and also love how Vader and another Sith Lord who won't be named cause spoilers will ruin civilisations just to get to kenobi
