If you're going to go on to watch the third one can I suggest you not do the special edition/directors cut? They don't just add some scenes in they replace scenes entirely and I feel the original just flows better.

Unfortunately I can't find a version that syncs up with yours. Theres a copy broken up on Dailymotion but bizarrely it plays slightly slower than yours so I end up a few seconds behind every 10 seconds. Can't get the directors cut version on Disney Plus or Amazon Prime for some weird reason. Real shame, I was looking forward to this.

This was my favorite movie for about 20 years. So glad to see you watch it. When James Cameron pitched the movie, he wrote "ALIENS" and then proceeded to change the S to a dollar sign. Bill Paxton (Hudson), Bishop (Lance Henriksen), and Hicks (Michael Biehn) appeared in Cameron's second movie, Terminator. Biehn also showed up in The Abyss, as well.

Somehow I’ve only seen this one once like 10 years ago, even though the first is one of my favorite movies. Definitely gonna do the watch along this time around!
