Possible Video Game Suggestions
🕑 Added 2022-12-29 15:44:04 +0000 UTCNothing set in stone, but I've been really wanting to do some kind of gaming content with Jen, and i know a handful of you have as well. There's a few factors as far as technicality with the game choices though...
For example, I'd love to do a game like Fallout or Skyrim, but they are SO immersive they'll take forever to fully complete. We still *could* but just keep that in mind.
Some games I'd personally be willing to try:
- Lego Star Wars (each video would essentially be us playing a movie episode.)
- Spider-man PS4 (will still take some time, but come on, it's Spider-man and you all know me)
- Assassins Creed Valhalla (Jen is interested in this one because she watches me play a bit, but it's another that will take a LONG time to satisfactorily get through)
- Shadow of the Colossus (because I love that game and could do 1 Colosus per video)
- She also likes racing games, but I'm trying to get more into story/episodic stuff to upload.
Not saying we'll put any of those on the poll, just wanted to give you an idea of where we're at.
We have most old Gen consoles, Xbox, Playstation and the Meta Quest so there's some range.
It could be the start of a whole new series, My Wife Plays! Give us your thoughts and suggestions!

Definitely Spider-Man PS4 more than anything else. Jedi: Fallen Order would be a good one for sure.

Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order. I think you both would love the story and the surprises in the game. Plus the sequel is coming out in March, so it would be good timing.

The Last of Us may be good because the show is coming out. It's a very story-heavy game and it only takes about 10-12 hours to complete, and then you could react to the show coming out and compare them.

My personal favorite-story driven games that get you really immersed are -Red Dead Redemption series(2 games) - The Last of us Series(2 games) - Uncharted series(4 games)

Late to the party, but I'd recommend something that you can both play together or something Jen might like to try. My personal recommendation is TMNT: Shredder's Revenge. It's a classic, co-op, beat-em-up. It's fun, short, and low-skill. Not very story heavy, but it was enjoyable if you like the Turtles games from years past.
