FIFA Academy - Chip Penalty Shot
🕑 Added 2020-11-09 07:59:37 +0000 UTCIn today video we over how to use the chip penalty glitch in FIFA 21, to score penalties easily which is very hard to save. Do note, this may be patched eventually but for now its easy to use, please refer to my FIFA School for a full tutorial on penalities.

Key Notes:
- HOLD L1 / LB + Shoot to chip a penalty
- Make sure the reticle is in the top corner
- TAP the power button so this way its accurate, and allows the ball to move slower
- To increase the chances use a TIMED SHOT (Tap Shoot, then Shoot again when just about to hit the ball to time the shot, the closer the foot to the ball the better the "timing" aka Green Timed Shot
- Green/Yellow time shots are the most efficient practice getting it within that region

Nice video tried it a couple of times and works perfectly! @Neal, do you have something similar for free kicjs ? For some reason, I didn't manage yet to score from a free kick, comparing with last year when I did it regularly. Thanks!
I used it in the Shootout, not every penalty though. Just mixing it up here and there. But now, I regularly use during in-game.
Wow! I did this a couple of times and noticed my opponent's keeper diving under it! Would you advice to do this in an actual shootout? Or would you mix it up there?

Are you using the teammate contain method from last year or solely individually selecting the players?

But Sascha, you have to remember as I said, even if they guess the correct way firstly the goal keeper dives too quickly and the chip shot goes over him, 99% of players are not going to shift to the right and then dive, but more importantly its deception, most people go the opposite way of the way you are looking, you might rarely find someone who actually steps to the right and dives that way, and if its green it still goes it. Remember head movement is important to understand and deception, most people goes the opposite way, I would suggest watching Episode 19 from last year

Hm, maybe there is more to it than I can see. Knowing the corner you chose I'd simply take two steps sideways with my goalkeeper and save the penalty... (-:

Hi Sascha, It does work really really well, it doesnt matter if the guy looks that was as I mentioned if you time it correctly, the goal keeper dives before the shot goes in, therefore you cannot save it. The player is not too important, you can use lower tier players, the key is the timing and the lower power to keep the reticle is small, try it in the practice arena and you will see what I mean, its easy after you have done it a few times
Hi Neal, it is a nice trick shot, however as you can see the shooter looks into the direction in which you will shoot. Therefore, as you mention, it is easy to catch the ball. Aiming in the upper corners is so hard (especially with players that have a low penalty skills - not even considering anxiety in a match), that it is also almost impossible to follow the much more appreciated instructions of episode 19 (on penalties) AND do the trick.
