Ceiling DIY update
🕑 Added 2023-09-08 20:31:47 +0000 UTCAn update for those of you who helped fund the ceiling repairs. We're well under way. I've been documenting the whole thing and it has been quite...the learning experience.
It's taking significantly longer than I anticipated and we had SEVERAL roadblocks along the way, but we're making good progress. We're further along than this picture with that entire side now complete, and we'll be starting the second half tomorrow.
Since you guys funded past my budget, we're also repairing a section of fence and doing some touch up paint to various sections of the house. Can wait to finish so I can share the vlog with you guys!

We're actually putting some white trim to cover some gaps and the seams so it should look like one unbroken piece from side to side

Usually, when you have runs like that it's better to stagger the starting board lengths, so the seams don't line up. Otherwise, you'll have a single line drawing your eye to it every time you look at it, plus the length variations wouldn't stick out as much. Other than that, I applaud you for taking this task on.
