Shaky cam is definitely very subjective for the audience. Greengrass is the one that started the whole thing but I’ve always felt that he did it (for better or worst) to enhance the intensity of scenes. If you go watch other films with similar styles of editing, they do it to hide their faults whereas you can tell in the Bourne movies that choreography was definitely not a problem.
