Beast Complex Essay WIP Snapshot 5/9/24
🕑 Added 2024-05-09 14:58:58 +0000 UTCI've been meaning to check in with this tier for a progress report on the next video essay, so here's the fragmented mess of what I have at the moment. It's actually fairly far along, but there are segments that are obviously left blank and I want to do a full second pass (re-reading the source material yet again as I go) after it's "done."

Not wrong! It's kind of a mini-essay marathon. I might have done it differently: grouping the stories by topic and removing most of them. But I am in a kinda weird place where I'm so well known as The Beastars Guy, and tons of people skipped the Spoilers part of the last video, so I know that most of these people are probably Anime-only and will never read the manga, let alone the manga's spinoff. So the question is whether they want a tight 20 minute video about a single point, or an hour long video that makes them feel like they know what Beast Complex is.

The script is going great. You truly managed to infuse it with your brand of humor. I'm just a bit worried it's too much content, making the video less of an essay and more of a series recap
