"Devotees, please have your meal."
As the sun rose, Mu-hwa brought breakfast on a small tray. Being Buddhists, the meal consisted mostly of pickled vegetables and greens, but Cheong-ra didn't feel like complaining about the food at all. The young nun's face showed a desperate hope for her sect's fate, entrusted to these strangers, as if she were grasping at straws.
"Devotee, did you sleep well last night?"
"Thanks to Nun Mu-hwa, I slept comfortably."
Although it wasn't a peaceful night at all due to an unsettling dream, Cheong-ra responded politely. Seeing only Cheong-ra, Mu-hwa looked around with a puzzled expression.
"Where are the other devotees?"
Cheong-ra had no idea where the three had gone either. As he was about to make up an excuse, since he couldn't do anything about being so blatantly left out, Dang Ran-yeong and Nam Gang-ryong entered through the door. Yea, as much as I understand the sentiment of not betraying your loved ones and dying and instead, there are also those who don’t want to die and have no choice but to do something.. I get both arguments. I don’t know which way I’d swing, I have a lack of attachment to my own life so I feel like I’d probably be fine dying but you never truly know until you’re in that situation
