Fortunately, the screw didn't turn any further, but Cheong-ra couldn't feel relieved. There must be a purpose for spreading him open like this. Sure enough.
"Do you know what this is?"
Dang Ran-yeong shook a ceramic bottle in front of Cheong-ra's eyes. The sound of liquid sloshing inside could be heard. Though he didn't know what it was, he was certain it couldn't be anything good for him. It must be a special poison from the Tang Clan.
"This is a potent and vicious poison that, when applied to the soles of the feet, will peel off all the skin in just one night. Even the toughest person will be begging for mercy and confessing everything by the next day."
Cheong-ra's eyes wavered at the sight of such a cruel poison. Dang Ran-yeong opened the stopper of the ceramic bottle and asked leisurely,
"Beauty, what connection do you have with the Blood Cult?"
"I have no connection with those bastards!"
Though trembling so much that cold sweat broke out from fear, Cheong-ra shouted. What kind of vicious poison could peel off the skin of one's feet?
Moreover, it was clear that Dang Ran-yeong had no intention of using this poison on his feet. Given the current situation, its intended use was obvious...
As Dang Ran-yeong stirred with a stick, a clinking sound was heard. Soon, a long stick coated with poison entered Cheong-ra from behind.
"Ah, no..."
He struggled, moaning in fear, but with his rear spread open by the torture device, it was useless. Dang Ran-yeong easily applied the poison deep inside him. Soon, it had thoroughly permeated every nook and cranny, even to places fingers couldn't reach.
Cheong-ra trembled in fear, expecting terrible pain as if his insides were burning, but surprisingly, there was no pain at all. However, he couldn't feel relieved. Many poisons didn't show immediate effects. Closing the lid of the ceramic bottle and tucking it away, Dang Ran-yeong stood up.
"I'll go take care of some business. Reflect on yourself in the meantime."
At those words, Cheong-ra's head, which had been dropped to the floor, shot up.
"D-don't go!"
Though the other had imprisoned him here and personally tortured him, Cheong-ra was flustered at being left alone in this prison cell. He called out "Dang Ran-yeong!" once more, but the iron door closed, and soon all presence disappeared.
"Hah, huu..."
Anxiously, Cheong-ra struggled to raise his upper body with great effort. Looking around, there was no one else in the cell. Kneeling naked on his cut clothes in a pitiful state, he nervously waited for the poison's effects to appear.
At first, there was no sensation at all, so he clung to a sliver of hope. Had Dang Ran-yeong just been bluffing? Was he only trying to scare him?
However, as time passed, a strange sensation gradually built up from below. His stomach seemed to gurgle, and instead of pain, an itchy sensation began to arise.
He thought it must be his imagination, but the itchy feeling only grew stronger. He anxiously bit his lip, hoping the itchiness would subside, but its intensity kept increasing until it finally reached an unbearable level. Cheong-ra, who had been enduring quietly, twisted his body and eventually began to stamp his feet anxiously.
'It's too itchy...!'
He had experienced stomach aches in his life, but never had his insides felt itchy. No, he had never even thought such a place could feel itchy.
Soon, it surpassed the level of itchiness one feels after a mosquito bite. Cheong-ra ended up unconsciously wiggling his hips. It was an unseemly sight he would never show if others were present. But he couldn't bear it otherwise.
"Nngh, Dang Ran-yeong..."
Calling out the name of the one who wouldn't return, Cheong-ra curled up his body. He tried to endure the tickling sensation as it was. But the other showed no sign of returning even after a long time had passed.
Cheong-ra realized why this was called a vicious drug that would peel off the skin of one's feet. If applied there, one would have no choice but to scratch until the skin came off due to the unbearable itching. He crawled to a corner of the cell. He twisted his body, banging his head against the wall with a thud. Ragged breaths escaped involuntarily from between his lips.
An image he had never considered before bloomed in his mind. The image of pushing fingers into his gaping hole to scratch inside. It didn't have to be fingers. He wanted to shove anything in there and rub to relieve this itching.
After hesitating again and again, Cheong-ra adjusted his position. Kneeling, he carefully touched the torture device tightly wedged in his rear with his heel. After lightly touching it, he pressed down on the metal device with his heel, applying his weight, and a moment of ecstasy arose.
"Ah, aah..."
Panting, he raised his hips and then pressed down again and again. Cold sweat that had beaded on his forehead dripped down. As the device pushed in deeper, it pressed against his inner walls. Blood rushed to his penis from the pleasure of the itching being somewhat relieved. His tightly closed eyelashes trembled.
Though Dang Ran-yeong had stripped off all his clothes, he hadn't touched the string neatly tying Cheong-ra's penis. The string was something that would painfully constrict the penis when fully erect. However, the desire to relieve the itching was so great that even that pain was negligible.
Rubbing his head against the wall, Cheong-ra kept pushing the device with his heel. But soon, even that wasn't enough. He wanted to push it in deeper, but due to the device's structure, further insertion was impossible. As he was groaning and suffering miserably, the sound of the iron door opening again made Cheong-ra lift his head abruptly.
"D-Dang Ran-yeong..."
The brief feeling of relief was short-lived as Cheong-ra pressed his back tightly against the wall. A strong smell of blood wafted from Dang Ran-yeong, whatever he had been doing. His hands were clean, but there were clear red bloodstains splattered on his clothes.
"Have you been reflecting well?"
Dang Ran-yeong, who had walked over with large strides, looked down quietly at Cheong-ra, who was afraid of him. After a long smile, he dragged Cheong-ra back to where he had been before. Cheong-ra was dragged along without any resistance. Though his skin was scraped raw against the floor, he could hardly pay attention to it.
Dang Ran-yeong fixed Cheong-ra's chin with a firm hand and looked down at him, demanding an answer with his gaze. Cheong-ra tightly pressed his lips together. Wiping the cold sweat from Cheong-ra's forehead with his sleeve, Dang Ran-yeong spoke softly.
"Well, it's too early for you to reflect, isn't it?"
As he took out the ceramic bottle from his bosom again, Cheong-ra's eyes widened. His heart pounded rapidly with fear.
"No, no..."
Dang Ran-yeong opened the lid and took out a long ceramic stick, pushing it into the bottle. When he pulled it out, the liquid that had caused Cheong-ra such extreme suffering was coating the end of the stick. As Cheong-ra tried to jump up and run away, he was knocked down by a merciless kick. Dang Ran-yeong sat on top of the fallen Cheong-ra. His face showed cruel pleasure.
"Shall I apply it here this time?"
"Don't! Don't do it!"
The wet end of the stick moved towards his nipple. Though he twisted his body trying to avoid the stick and shook his head, the sticky liquid was applied to the tip of his nipple. Dang Ran-yeong slowly rubbed with the stick until the nipple stood erect. The same was done to the other side.
Then he flipped Cheong-ra over. Again, the sound of the stick clinking inside the ceramic bottle was heard. It wasn't over with just applying that terrible poison to his nipples. It was already unbearably itchy, and now he was going to apply more... Cheong-ra's face froze.
"No, no! Please, no more!"
Cheong-ra screamed and struggled with all his might. But just like before, his rear, spread wide by the torture device, helplessly allowed the invasion of the stick. Dang Ran-yeong applied the poison even more thoroughly and stickily to every corner of his insides than before.
Sobbing and dropping his head, Cheong-ra suddenly shuddered. His face turned pale as he realized that the screw of the metal device was being tightened in the opposite direction.
"Ah, aah...!"
The moment the narrowed metal device slipped out, Cheong-ra despaired. The only means of relieving the itching had disappeared. Then, the tip of the stick touched the areas that couldn't be reached while the device was in place.
Cheong-ra shuddered as the stick moved back and forth between his tightly closed hole. Only after spreading the poison on each and every fold did Dang Ran-yeong put away the ceramic bottle. But it wasn't over yet. Further restraints followed.
Dang Ran-yeong tightly bound Cheong-ra's legs together in their kneeling position using the clothes he had cut off earlier. It was a binding that tied his thighs and calves together, making it impossible to move his legs at all. Then, he gagged Cheong-ra, who was starting to suffer greatly as the poison's effects intensified, by shoving cloth into his mouth.
Finally, shackles were also placed on his neck, which was bulging with veins. A hand gripping the back of his head pressed it down until his forehead touched the floor. It was a posture as if he were bowing abjectly. He connected it to a ring on the floor so that Cheong-ra couldn't lift his head.
Leaving Cheong-ra in that state, he left the prison cell again. The sound of the iron door closing rang out like thunder.

Fr soooo jacked up. Tbf he did give that crazy example of what he was actually into during the only chapter we’ve had so far from his POV. He mentioned that he normally targets "enemies" anyway, this doesn’t require them to be attractive or to his tastes tho, it’s just the more satisfying target. And then there’s the whole description of what he considers more exciting than just strangling someone. If you wrote down on paper the whole idea of this particular elaborate punishment, it matches that thought process pretty well. It’ll prolly end either when Cheong-ra gives in, or Dang is completely satisfied. No clue if Cheong-ra is going to "admit to something he didn’t do" to try to get out of it, since that would technically be a real lie. We’ll have to see (but I live in fear-)

Yea, you’re right. I think I was hoping for something less depraved but he’s totally as psychopath so I should have at least expected something of this level if not worse, I just guess I was hoping for something a little less extreme…. Like it’s not all that crazy when you think of his actual personality and he probably is still holding back which is upsetting because this is pretty jacked up on so many levels

Completely agree with you I think he's perfectly well aware that Cheong-ra is innocent in this regard, even if the circumstances surrounding his capture were suspicious. And even if he does have connections to the blood cult (which he should have deduced from his experience with stalkers alone) he should know he's not directly involving himself with them. It's more like a power move where he's using this "suspicion" as a justification to enact his punishment. It's like another way of subjugating him honestly, playing on his fear and helplessness at being unable to defend himself in any way. He cant clear his name and he cant brute force his way out. The fact that he's not physically harming him or mutilating him like he would an actual prisoner, but instead punishing him in a more "sexual" manner is much closer to their deal of him "acting basely". Problem (or I guess not a problem? To Cheong-ra. Who knows) is that Dang Ran-Yeong's idea of acting basely is a lot more unhinged than what he's portrayed so far. (Let's be honest he's probably been waiting to do something like this)

I shall join you in the ritual to delete our memories of these past chapters. Ugh, I still need to know how this is going to end. But still, I get why he was suspicious, I do, it’s weird how they treated Cheongra. However, the WHOLE reason he was there, the whole reason he was on protective duty in the first place and on the mountain to begin with is because of Dang. So his justification fails when he himself is the reason that he was there and in that role to begin with. He even asked why he had to go. AND Dang is actually much more suspicious than Cheongra… it’s just funny how he’s ending up in their grasp and become a target now because of Dang.. just too convenient and too suspicious and I think he just personally wants to torture him so he’s using it as an excuse to

I plan to delete my memory of this experience with extensive head against wall treatment after I find out it ends 😭. But imma be real with u there's no way he's getting out of this one himself (this is the direct result of him going against Dang's orders so now he's quite literally getting fucked with) I both fear and anticipate the next chapters because if Dang is still upholding his part of the deal then after this there's gonna need to be some serious aftercare, but we still have to get that far 🥲. The fact that he said he was going easy on Cheong-ra in the forties and pulls this I finally understand what he meant

How the hell do we end up with them at chapter 1? I just don’t see how him being tortured will get them there, and if he forgives it I’d hate him for it uhhhh I was even a lil nauseous reading this.. but I need to know how this stops and he gets out of it
