Yuder silently looked down at the face of the person sitting in front of him. As he gazed at the shadowed face illuminated by the lamp, he was somehow reminded of the sight he had often seen in his previous life. That man who came to visit him every night, smiling shamelessly yet somehow immersed in a sensitive and cold shadow.
He didn't know then, but now he could understand. That coldness was not directed at others, but at himself.
Yuder pulled up a chair and sat down facing him. Then, after taking a breath, he took off his gloves and placed his hands on the desk.
"I have something I want to say, but first, would you hold my hand?"
"Hand?"
The man who had been blinking slowly placed his hand on top of Yuder's. He hesitated slightly just before grasping it, but after placing it, he completely relaxed as if reassured. Although it was a momentary reaction that would be difficult for an ordinary person to notice, Yuder was on high alert and could perceive it sufficiently.

'Invisible enemy'... The emotion he was feeling was fully conveyed in his choice of words. It was an emotion that Yuder, who had experienced heat first, could also understand.

"When you took care of me during my heat, did you dislike my changed appearance?"
"Of course not."
It was an immediate answer.
"Not for a single moment did I think that way."
'I knew it would be like this, but this is how it feels when the expected answer comes as expected.'
Thinking this, Yuder replied.
"It's the same for me."

"I believe you."

"Can you believe it?"
Kishiar looked down at their clasped hands for a long time. Then he shook his head very slowly.

Saying that, Yuder smiled. And with a slightly lighter heart, he opened his mouth.

I kinda feel like Yuder and Kishiar are really jinxing it with being so sure that there is no way they will ever be able to have kids. 😆 Though it might just be wishful thinking on my part, but all the communication between them is beautiful to see.

The only reason I really want them to that’s a chance to have children is because they have both suffered so much and especially with family, Kishiar has grown up believing he will die soon so the thought of even having a chance to have a child was forbidden to him because he was going to die for sure and considered himself “defective”. Yuder has grown up alone without much affection except from his gpa and had bad experiences in the first life and was “lonely” … the thought of them being able to live happily and be together but also build their own family together without the burden of both of them feeling defective or as if something was wrong for them. I don’t believe that not having children is a bad thing, for sure it’s not- I myself don’t want children, but for some reason I feel like it has been a forbidden option for these two for so long that I want them to at least be able to have the option if they wanted it.

Just this time, I really2 wish that the Author will grant the common trope that miracle will happen for the main couple. I have read many manhwas where the should be uncompatible species main couple suddenly break common sense and have more than one baby. I hope Kishiar & Yuder will have two children, one boy and one girl. Let them be twins, so that Yuder will 'suffer' less, two in one go. Let them be the beacon of hope for the awakeners, just like when they showed the world that the awakeners power can be useful for society, that the second gender pairings are the new normal, and now that awakeners can built their own little family! Please Author please!!!!

If Yuder ever had kids, I wonder if the Red Stone power would be passed to them as well? And maybe that would fix any problems with a child’s vessel that they might inherit from Kishiar. It’s interesting to think about.

As much as I love the thought of them as parents, if they don't want kids, then they don't want kids. However I love that they're having this conversation and would like to see them work out a solution for the birth problems for second genders. Not only for others, but for themselves as well, so that they have options should they change their minds.
